J-Deal EZCast M2 Universal WiFi Display Adapter, Black

Don't waste your money on this item. I purchased it in hoping to cast movies like the Chromecast, and even though it does, about 3/4 way through the movie it loses signal every time. I checked my internet signal and it was fine and I have full signal on everything else, this item just does not want you to watch the full movie. To try and get back in is terrible because you have to completely close everything down and then re-open it and hopefully you remember where the movie stopped at or else it starts all over again and forget fast forwarding through it because it will freeze on you and you have to close it all down and re-open it. This thing is terrible.

This product sounded better in the description than it performed. It is supposed to function like Chromecast that Amazon does not carry, but in actuality does not. There was a lot of difficulty communicating with the device. I am a very tech-saavy consumer and can usually install and operated devices effortlessly. The first issue was that the instructions were non existent. After searching Google Play for the necessary app, there was no indication that the Pro-version worked completely differently than the regular (lite) version. It was far too much hassle for my liking. After finally installing the correct version of the app, the cast view was in the center of my screen with 6 inches of black on either side. I returned this item for a refund.

I am a tech savvy person but I couldn't get this set up and working after an hour. The help documentation isn't helpful, nor are the videos. It seems pretty poorly designed too (unclear which dongle needs to be attached to the TV and which needs power etc... It's just unintuitive and not worth my time. Once I saw reviews that it was buggy even after it was successfully set up, I realized I'd rather eat the cost and buy the real Chromecast.

Didn't realize I was buying a knock of but none the less gave it a try it was a good price so plugged it into my TV showed screen for instructions on how to download to smartphone or a website to download. I own a android so I went to the play store attempted to download I encountered download error for two days straight, then gave up on that method went to said website and it didn't exist. I would't bother with product. Took forever to come it ships form China.

This is, unfortunately, one of the least user friendly products I have ever dealt with. I tried for DAYS to get it to work and finally gave up and will return it tomorrow.My chromecast stopped working right in the middle of a movie one day and I thought this one was more versatile, but sorry I wasted my time now. It's back to chromecast for me.

I order this thing for a co-worker. Since I order it late I ask him if he still wanted the EZcast. That day we were busy with work there for he fail to answer me. Today 04/20/16 I decided to keep it instead however I was really disappointed. There is image on the TV but when I try to connect my phone to the EZcast WiFi, it fail, I try with my tablet too and it is the same thing. I was successful just one time, only get disconnected again. for what I found. it seems that it gets overheat to fast. The TV usb power is not strong enough, but if you connected to a stronger source of power the thing heats up fast, and that is when the WiFi starts to fail. it does not take even a minute for this thing to overhead.

I purchased the EZCast by mistake; my intent was to order Google Chromecast - I am totally responsible for the mistake. However, this device is a piece of crap. It comes with absolutely no instructions and the online instructions were obviously translated from a foreign language by someone with only rudimentary English skills. So far, I have achieved no internet connection with the EZCast and can only mirror documents/videos/music from my laptop. Don't buy this device unless you enjoy frustration.

This piece of s*** isnt a Chromecast as they intend you to believe. Shapes are identical and cast is in the name. I got suckered. Spent four hours trying to get this crap to work. When it finally worked, didn't do anything as you intend. Wouldn't be surprised if I hear about class action lawsuit in the future since this is all about scamming people looking to buy actual Chromecasts but mistakenly buying this piece of crap.
