Great replacement.

Easy install and seems to hold charge ok

Batteries need eventually be be replaced on all battery operated units. Mine lasted for several years. But replacement is simple: 1) Turn off the unit and unplug the charger 2) Flip over the unit to locate the battery compartment, and release the battery compartment door by pressing the hinge tab 3) Gently slide out the old battery and pull on the electrical cord to reveal the plastic connector that is stored inside the plastic housing 4) Caution: Only the upper part of the wiring harness is the battery plug. This is the part that needs to be separated from the Shark connector. Check the connector plug on the new battery to verify the shape of the connector. A small screwdriver could be used to wedge apart the two plastic parts. 5) The interior compartment is usually dusty and should be vacuumed or wiped prior to replacing the battery 6) The connector and plug are polarized and can be only joined in one way. Press the new battery plug into the Shark connector 7) The connectors and battery wires can be pushed back into the housing while the battery slides into the battery compartment 8) Replace the battery compartment door; it should snap into place 9) Plug in the battery charger and charge the new battery overnight or for at least 20+ hours

This battery holds a great charge. Glad I took a chance on cheaper item and not shark brand. Well worth it. I forgot how much pickup my little cordless shark had. Recommend!
