Element Case Black OPS Rip Cord Holster for iPhone 6

I purchased an Apple IPhone 5S several years ago and promptly bought a hard outer case and a ballistic/ripcord holster to fit it from ElementCase. I was totally satisfied with my protection items, except that over time the velcro on the strap that held the flap closed on the holster wore out to the point it would no longer stay closed. I searched for another holster alternative, but found only lesser quality "universal sized"alternatives. The ElementCase web site showed this holster but identified it as being for an IPhone 6/6S. The single picture of only one side was not real enlightening. My old holster was not shown on the web site and an email to the company asking if they either they still made my old holster or the new one would fit the 5S was not responded to, and phone contact proved impossible. I then turned for help to,the good and gentle people who,had bought this holster, via the question and answer section of this blog. The responses lead me to go ahead and order. Having received it now I can report that the holster is almost identical in construction to my previous holster with the one difference being the Velcro strap closure, which is over twice as wide as previously. This is an excellent and necessary improvement on my prior holster. The restraining strap is longer, but I find that to be a total non-issue, and I love the plastic ring on the end which facilitates opening and closing. The same belt loop on the back is perfect for all size belts and the closure button snaps securely. The ballistic fabric is the same rugged durable stuff and the stitching is excellent. Oh, and my 5S in its ElementCase outer case slides in and out perfectly. Problem solved!

This is the most compact webbing-based holster I could find for the iPhone 6. I had a maxpedition holster for the iPhone 5 which was wonderful, but the maxpedition products for the 6 look too bulky. The iPhone 6 is already a bit large for being hung from a belt as it is, so there's a real need to keep the holster compact.This holster is well made and seems a quality product. It's as compact as you can get for the iPhone 6. Fits like a glove if the phone has a minimalistic case on it.A couple of gripes. The Velcro is loud in quiet settings like a meeting. And the belt loop is long and slender, allowing a lot of movement on the belt. I found the maxpedition design a little easier to live with, even with its sometime-criticized metal clip.

I just ordered this holder. I have Amazon Prime and shipping was quick. It looks like its made well even though I think it might be overpriced. Not the best looking holder but I got it since I needed something lasting and with a belt loop not a clip and it can sit horizontally or vertically on your belt. I have an iPhone 6 with a case that is not very bulky and it fits perfectly. The side bands of the holder are elastic and stretch a little for appropiate case. If you are considering to buy this product I recommend watching the YouTube videos about this item. Overall, I believe this is a good case and it meets my needs. It is not a designer (for looks) holder, it's functional.

My iPhone 5S just barely fits, but tighter than I like. Also I had to glue down the inner pull strap, since it kept wadding up when I put the phone back in. But it's got the security I wanted. I've had too many belt clips pop off while I'm twisting & turning & bending over in my work. Good product which will keep my iPhone safe.

I bought this holder to use with my IPhone 6. It is a great holster and holds my phone tight. I like that the velcro is strong and there is also an option to attach it to the MOLLE system on other products. I am really impressed with this product and has held up to daily use attaching it to my belt. The only down size is that there is no padding for the screen, so face your phone face into your body and should be just fine.

Awesome case but serious issues. It already showed a small scratch of the back plate where it's black. It's not black underneath and sticks out like a sore thumb not even sure how it ended up there as I have never dropped it yet very disappointed I paid 200 dollars for this case and this is what it looks like.

Perfect case for a backup phone I keep attached to my go bag in the truck.

Well made holster. My only complaint is that the velcro is pretty noisy. Reminds me of when I had my velcro wallet in the 80's.
