So simple to use, and it cuts through tough fabric like it's nothing! Seriously, I feel zero resistance or "pull" when slicing through even the very tough fire-retardant Guilford of Maine FR701 I use for my acoustic panels at SnellingAcoustics.com. It saves a ton of time compared to the fabric shears I was using before getting this. One caveat: be sure you know what you want to cut - it will slice exactly as you point it, so best to use a guide or rail to steer the blade - it's like drawing with a pen! If you wiggle one bit, your cut will reflect the motion.

I used this cutter for canvas work. It got hot very quickly and now the power will not shut off. I couldn't find where to contact the seller about a return..Aside from those issues, the blade is sharp and it cut nice on the first couple small projects..

Not bad! Build quality is far superior to the Hercules or the All-Star brands.The only downside is the foot is a lot shorter and more narrow, so if you have any rough spots on your cutting surface it will cause it to jerk one way. We love Reliable's LED sewing lights, and the build quality is definitely on the same level as those. The price is a little high compared to others, but they don't need to be serviced as often. On that note; having parts available on Amazon would be PERFECT!

Cuts through multiple layers of fabric with ease. Lightweight and easy to use. Definitely would recommend for anyone handling alot of fabric.

I rarely used this, but it didn't work for two months.

Quality is good and works wonderful. The weight is good and can rest on the table while cutting. Having a self sharpening blade feature is great. A bit hard to deliver the tiny amount of grease to the small holes.The lubricating tube is very small and at best half full. No indication of where to buy the oil. I wish they were more specific about the oil. I ended up using some bicycle grease as it was the closest look and feel to the sample in the tube.

I love this product. It fits snugly and conveniently in my hand, is easy to maneuver and cuts thru layers of fabric like "cutting through butter".
