Follain Irish Jam - Gooseberry (13 ounce)

Ever since my husband and I went to Ireland last April, I have been looking for good Gooseberry Jam (I cannot find it in California to save my life, or anywhere in the States, for that matter). I decided to take a chance with this company, and it definitely paid off. It's definitely jam-like (as opposed to jelly) with actual berries in it. It is a bit pricey, but it was worth every penny. I will be buying more once we run out.

I will be purchasing it again!!! I like the fact that it's pure gooseberry and not a combination jam with other fruit mixed in. It's delicious and I enjoy it on rye or pumpernickel toast!!

The jam is very good. It is very sweet. My grandchildren really like it and asked for some to take to their home.

This is truly wonderful gooseberry jam. It is packed with chunks of gooseberries. I highly recommend this product!! It truly met my expectations.

This gooseberry jam is not bad. However, it is too sweet to my taste, no natural tartness of gooseberry can be tasted at all. According to the label, its ingredients are gooseberry (50%), pectin and sugar.BTW, I discovered that Ikea sells gooseberry jam in their food section which is not bad at all and it is only $3.99

Great jam! Good gooseberry is hard to find but this will satisfy the craving.
