Small and unobtrusive.
This little wedge is awesome for keeping kerf open. I have it on a length of tech cordage daisy chained on a small carabiner. When cutting spars it's clipped to my lanyard. Shove in the kerf to keep pressure off the bar and when the chunks falls it just swings out of the way. Daisy chained and hooked to saddle it is out of the way until needed. This has been a super handy little tool when climbing and helps on those big chunks when working down a spar. I will buy again. But don't think you can go bearing it into a backcut because it isn't built as a striking wedge.

Handy
...from time to time. If you remember to take it up in the tree with you every time you go up. But if you are like me, the one in twenty times you need it, it is in a bag on the ground some place.

I should have bought this earlier.
Nice and small, plenty wide to keep the gap open. Hooks to a carabiner or the loop hooks to a belt ring. I've been needing this for a long time.
