would be wonderful if I could keep it on
The plug was so cheap it wouldn't stay on no mater how I tried to adjust it. I did look great when it was on though. I asked for a return from the vendor and they suggested a $7 refund since shipping was barely worth the $12.95 I'd paid for it in the first place. I agreed even thought I still threw away $ on something that didn't work.A few days later I got the weirdest email from the person who'd done my refund for me. It said:"By the way,Could you kindly leave a five-star positive feedback for me? As I refunded you the money,I will be deducted my bonus by my boss:( And your positive feedback will be helped. If a customer has to have a return, the customer service representative should not be docked their bonus and I would not recommend buying from this vendor because it sounds like they may use unjust employment practices. At first I didn't want to give a negative feedback because I don't want the person to get into trouble, but this made me feel really yucky about buying on Amazon and people should know.

Another Losing Proposition
this is another joke....there again no instructions on how to make this design....Dont be a fool and waste your money on this...not worth it...i wanted to edit my review on these lights...i like them...they are oustanding for creativity and brightness...whatever you do....please dont put them outside for use in rain and snow and what have you...the control box gets wet on the inside and you have to open it to dry this puppy out...it is wet and depending on how heavy the rain is a little flood develops on the inside of it..i bought 2 of these sets and one almost went out on me but decided it was gonna stay around for a bit....so what i did to keep it dry as i should have done is to wrap the control box up in hvy plastic so it will avoid getting it wet on the inside...wrap the plastic around it and put colorful duct tape over it and that should keep it dry,,,,just dont have the switch pressed down on it when you wrap it...i ordered 2 more sets a few minutes ago and i will be wrapping them in hvy plastic...they are pretty and if you dont take care of them outside use them inside...i think they will last for a bit as long as you take precautions with them....we shall see what happens when the next rain comes and i will keep you informed on what happens....take care

Very beautiful... I was pleasantly surprised...
I love these lights. Got them on a lark but am very pleased with them so far and will use them year-round.Lots of different patterns and very bright!Negatives:- Does circles only, I would love to see them do spoke patterns- Resets to demo mode when unplugged so you need to be aware of that when using a timer- The 'web' is made of plastic lines so I'm not sure how durable it is and I don't believe the controller is waterproofI'm not taking anything off for these negatives as the seller/description explained exactly what I was getting and never claimed anything that the product doesn't do... and what it does it does VERY well.I attached/taped mine to a circular piece of plastic I already had and put the controller in a plastic baggie (just in case) and have had zero problems. We got TONS of positive compliments on these and I could not ask for more for the price.

Works great; lots of fun
Bought two of these, and want to get several more when stock is back after Holidays (for next year). Works great; lots of fun; no problems; great price. One worked as a skirt for our fiber-optic tree; the trunk went through the 2" steel ring at center of TomTop - spectacular and I use the most "serene" setting of the nine programs. The other I taped to large sheets of packing foam in near perfect symmetrical radial pattern and hung it from side of chimney facing guests arriving in the driveway. Set that one on spectacular no. 1 "combo" program. My new project is to make hoops of black flex water pipe, at 48" dia. and get rid of the packing foam sheet which is white. I'll tape the wire by the outermost blue led's to the hoop making a light-weight hanging of TomTops. This will be discreet against the stone chimney and other outdoor places I want to hang them next year. Oh, and yes, I put the plug and controller in gallon-size zip-loc bags and no problems with lots of rain.

this is junk
Not sure why I was expecting to actually receive what was in the picture for such a cheap price, got what I paid for... cheap and useless junk.the lights don't stay on for more then a few seconds before dying out and dimming, no matter what setting it's on.the product itself is super cheapo, ultra thin wiring, poorly madethe wire to plug in is about 3 inches, making it useless without an extension cordit kind of looks cool for a few seconds when the lights are at their strongest, but this is definitely garbage and I will be tossing it out before finishing this review.save yourself the money and pick a different led light

OMG Awesome!
I have a geometric quilt in my livingroom which I use as a room divider. I pinned this to it and it looks fabulous! I hope it lasts forever. The wire is very flexible, not stiff at all so you will need to support it so it stays circular. Since mine is on a thick quilt, I used small safety pins. But I think if you were mounting it on a wall scotch tape would be acceptable. Just be prepared to have several support points as it tends to sag. A real eye opener, though on certain movements it tends to strobe which makes it hard to take. This is more of a problem in a dark room. No regrets on this purchase.

Almost cool . . .
This is almost really cool. But very cheaply built, especially the controller. Most of the patterns are much too busy, unless you don't have to look at it all the time. - reminds me of the local Acme Radiator Repair shop flashing sign. Steady on would be nice, but that flickers - annoying. So the only setting I use is a sort of slow cycling thru the four colors. But it's too fast, too, and suffers from some flicker as well. I may mod it with my own controller, or it might end up going to the thrift store. I mounted it with wire bag ties to a 4'x4' piece of welded wire fencing for vertical hanging. Wouldn't buy it again.

Very, very cool!
The coolest addition to a dorm room you could have. It's a bit fragile, but you have to work with it on its terms. However, it's a small price to pay for something so cool.
