Men's USA Garver - Louden Open Toe Sandal W/Strap Closure

I bought the Skechers Louden sandals for an upcoming vacation, and they’ve quickly become my go-to footwear for warm weather. The cushioning is excellent—very supportive, especially for walking long distances. I wore them all day on a city tour and had zero foot fatigue, which says a lot! The adjustable straps make it easy to get a secure fit, and the material feels durable but soft against the skin. No break-in period needed, and they haven’t caused any blisters or discomfort. The open-toe design also keeps my feet cool during hot days. They look good too—casual enough for shorts and a T-shirt but still neat enough to wear with nicer summer outfits. Overall, great quality and comfort at a reasonable price. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable pair of sandals!

Comfortable Sandals but Limited Versatility These Skechers Garver-Louden sandals hit a nice balance of comfort and casual styling. The memory foam footbed is soft and supportive, which makes them comfortable for walking around the house, at the beach, or running quick errands. The straps adjust easily, and the padding prevents any rubbing or blisters, which I appreciated during longer wears. That said, these sandals lean more toward casual lounging than active wear. The sole has decent grip but not enough for rough terrain or extended hikes. They also feel a little bulky, and the open-toe design means you’ll collect dust and dirt quickly if you wear them in less forgiving environments. Style-wise, they’re fine for shorts and jeans but probably not versatile enough for dressier casual settings. Bottom line: A solid, comfortable sandal for everyday casual use, but not the most versatile or rugged choice if you’re hoping for something more all-purpose.

I love this product. And came back for another. I am a 80 year old women with lymphademia, To find a product that I can wear with my swelling is wonderful. Comfortable,functionable and easy to put on.

Comfort

Sadly these become uncomfortable after a while. The toe strap has a bottom layer that isn’t long enough so you wind up with the rough buckle digging into your big toe bruising it and making them painful to wear. Probably a $0.10 reduction in manufacturing cost that made them unwearable. That said, the sole of the shoe is very comfortable, they’re just hampered by a poor design/cost reduction choice. Which sucks because otherwise this is a great shoe. This may not be an issue for folks with narrower feet.
