The book was packed with practical guide in dealing with MBOs. As a banker, there are parallel situations to what takes place in traditional lending and the insight here are very helpful for those who are new to the business and experienced professionals alike.While the book was priced well considering I got the older version and some information are outdated, the shipping charges were extraordinarily expensive and I was a bit put off by the seller.

Good for a introductory view of the subjects related to a MBO, but lacks (although warned by the author) more concepts as well as tools and models.

Buyout provides an insider's view on the buyout process and how to think about the deal. It's a must read in my library. Kenneth H Marks, lead author of  The Handbook of Financing Growth: Strategies, Capital Structure, and M&A Transactions (Wiley Finance)

Although based on US experience there is plenty of advice to take in and follow

Thorough and informative. Although American case studies, the experiences and tips can be considered international or, at the very least, make the transition to UK business seemingly in tact. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in MBOs who still have questions to be answered as to the process, details and pitfalls. Mercifully, as well as being informative, it is an entertaining read.
