Maull's BBQ Sauce a Saint Louis Favorite
One of the oldest, if not the oldest BBQ sauce company in the country. A Saint Louis original since the early 1900's. It's great to see certain companies have lasted the test of time. I learned of Maull's sauce from someone who I met in the military who was from Saint Louis. Good sauce from Missouri. It will be nice to get reaquainted with Maull's after all these years. I'm glad their products are still around. Looking forward to enjoying it on my BBQ needs.

Good stuff
I'm sure nostalgia plays a part in our rating this hard to find sauce since we left St. Louis in 1957, but this IS GOOD BBQ sauce. Is it worth 20 bucks? Well, it's a big bottle :-)

Classic Saint Louis BBQ sauce
I grew up with this flavor, and it works so great when added to grilled meats, and chicken. Best used by cooks in the know at the last 5 minutes of your burgers you roll them in the sauce in a small bowl and then baked in for those last 5. Same with Saint Louis pork steaks, and chicken. Oh so great. I like to try other sauces, but this is my hometown sauce that brings back all the good times and memories of family time.

Our whole family loves Maul’s!
We are a bbq-loving family! I grew up near St. Louis and my dad grilled awesome ribs Always with Maul’s Original Sauce so when 8 of the nine of us moved all over the US we made sure to have our Maul’s fix by send it to families who could not buy it locally. Thus those families learned to love it as well. Usually sometime in April grilling season starts at our house in Iowa. Maul’s is the only sauce I eat with its smokey, zesty, rich flavor. We grill any kind of pork, chicken and turkey pieces. It is heavenly on beef ribs as well. Anything you put catsup on tastes even better with Maul’s Original Sauce!

Been buying Maul's for years
Good flavor. Not as sweet as other BBQ sauces. The Sweet and Smokey is also a favorite.

Sauce is to thin
For the majority of my life I have lived in STL MO and my dad always used Mauls BBQ sauce for pork steaks and chicken and I tried this after not having it for a few years and it taste different and was more watery than previous. Most BBQ sauces thicken when cooked on grill and this would not do that or adhere to the meat and end result of a thicker sauce. Disappointed and just not the same.
