Looks cute, functionally not so great.
Great tiny tea set, includes trivet and the saucers. Almost complete as the lid lifter/holder and the heating element are not included. It really is cute, looks solid, cast iron will last longer than you will if you take care of it properly. Keeps your tea warm for a while as it is made of cast iron. Of course the teapot and the cups themselves will scald you if touched while the hot tea is in it. However, it is small capacity, definitely not for 4 people you'd think based on the number of cups included. Unless you and your guests truly do drink only a tiny cup of tea or it's more of a performative function than an actual tea drinking situation.

this teaset is so adorable with its tiny cups
I should have ready the description of this tea set closer because I assumed the cups would be a little bit bigger based on the pictures they provided. The tea cups are tiny and my whole hand wraps around the cup.Even though it was smaller than expected I absolutely adore this tea set! the craftsmanship is impeccable and it is obvious it was made by someone who enjoys their craft. The details on the cups, plates and teapot are gorgous and I love the gold accents on it.When cleaning do not use a sponge or a scrubber as it will destroy the finish. Goes the same with using soap as well, just try to use products that are gentle.I personally don't put in any sugar in the teapot and add it individually to our own cups. I'm able to rinse with hot water and hand dry the teaset.

Great Tea Set! Mine didn’t come with cup platters
Basically as the title says. I love this set, super easy to clean with some warm water. The cast iron keeps the tea warm for a good amount of time even in a heavily air conditioned room. My only complaint is mine didn’t come with saucers/platters for the 4 tea cups so that’s the only reason I have to give 4 stars. One other note, the cups are made of the same cast iron the pot is, so they will hold ALOT of heat. Great for when the tea is warm, but I don’t use them when the tea is freshly hot as it may burn your fingers.

Exactly what we wanted
This is perfect if you enjoy a hefty teacup and the rhythm of sharing a pot and refilling as you go. We enjoy our daily teatime with this set. The cups do get pretty warm but you can just hold them by the top or hold the cup on the saucer to drink from it.

Purchased as a Gift and it's Loved
I purchased this tea set as a gift for a tea lover in my life and they absolutely love it! While I'm not a tea drinker, preferring coffee, I was impressed with the quality of this relatively inexpensive set. Good stuff!

Not impressed. For the amount of money they are charging, the paint work is beyond poor. Makes it look tacky and nothing like the pictures. Wouldn’t recommend.

I had expected it to be made in Japan with Japanese attention to detail. This is made in China (I don't mean to associate poor quality to made in China as I have seen some Made in China products which are very well made too). The ceramic coating at the spout was not done well and the strainer was lopsided. The cast iron product is meant to look and feel rustic but a certain level of attention to detail must be observed to qualify for the 'Kiyoshi Luxury' and 'Timeless Collection' claim.
