Using as a night cream as a bit thick for my skin type (combination) but I love this, keeps it soft and hydrated and no grease residue in the morning. It also smells beautiful!

The simple package design of this facial moisturizer had me believing that I would only somewhat end up liking this moisture cream. After using, I have to admit that my impression changed for the better. In fact, I was very impressed with this cream. It did wonders for my mature combination skin. Also took years off of my looks. There is a very mild coconut scent that I rather enjoyed. Very light and nothing at all like something you might smell wafting up from some resort beach area. Only noticeable during application and should be fine for most users. Can't speak for the scent adverse though. The best part is the results that it leaves me with. It leaves my face with a healthy glow, but it's not an oily shine. Not oily or greasy to the skin, though it will leave an ever so slight bit of dew for about 20-30 minutes after application. That will eventually fully absorb once you allow it to set. If that bothers you, you can easily just gently pat the excess off with a towel and all of that good stuff will still be there to work its magic. For my mature combination skin, I prefer to let it sit to reap maximum benefits. It will soon fully absorb and leaves my skin looking and feeling great. Diminishes fine lines and will also soften the deeper set ones. Makes my skin more supple and elastic while also firming up the skin. Really makes my skin look healthy and takes years off of my looks. Great for both men and women alike. Best for those with normal to dry skin.

You will not be disappointed with this natural and effective facial cream. It smells deliciously tropical without artificial fragrance. A little bit goes a long way, yet completely hydrates, plumps, and glows me up! I use only a fraction of the amount of product that I would with most creams and it gives me instant radiance. While this is an oil based cream, it has not made me break out at all! It is very common for me to break out when I add oils to my skin care, I would say it happens about 75% of the time, but not with this. I am over forty, with dry/combination skin, and a fair freckled complexion. I 100% love this facial cream, as well as everything else I have tried from this brand. They are delivering consistently effective products that also happen to be organic and natural. That's a win for me. I would buy this again along with their Bio-Retinol Serum.

This Evolve facial cream, produced in England, has a thick consistency more like a night cream than a daytime one. I love that 99.8% of the ingredients are derived from natural sources, and that about a third of those are organic. Weirdly, because the ingredients don't list coconut oil, the cream smells of coconut, probably the natural added fragrance that isn't specific. I happen to love the fragrance, but not everyone will. The cream does a great job of moisturizing, although I can feel it if I touch my face even several hours later. That's one reason why I prefer it as a night cream unless my face feels super dry after washing. Besides, this doesn't contain any sunscreen, and I need it because I have fair skin. I have acne-prone skin that's been sensitized from prescription tretinoin. In other words, my skin is oily but dry at the same time. Without enough moisture, my skin gets even worse because it goes into oil production overload. This formula contains some great ingredients such as natural oils, shea butter, hyaluronic acid, aloe, Vitamin E, and lactic acid. So, I was excited to try this! First off, a star automatically deducted for the lack of a seal. This was a mess right out of the box. I don't think it was tampered with because it arrived in a tough, sealed bubble wrap from the seller. (It was not in one if those things Amazon repackages returns in.) It took a good while to clean up, and to try to prevent a lot of waste. The texture feels thicker than what would normally want to use, but it actually sinks in easily, which really surprised me! Since I'm outdoors a lot during the day, in the hot, HUMID, tropical sun, I mostly wear water-resistant sunscreen. This is a but too heavy to wear under sunscreen, but it's amazing at night! I also wore it on a day indoors, in the AC, and it worked great. So, I know this will be a stellar day cream during the cooler season. Plus, it smells amazing- kind of coconutty, but natural and not overpowering. My other gripe is the jar packaging itself, in addition to lack of a seal. It looks sleek, but when the contents are constantly exposed to light and air from repeated opening, it can cause degradation of the ingredients. Also, repeatedly dipping fingers into it will introduce bacteria. Not a deal breaker for a great formula, I usually just transfer it to a pump. At the very least, As always with Evolve, this is a good value (aside from the mess)- the brand usually provides excellent formulas at a very reasonable price. I wouldn't recommend sending this as a gift unless they change the packaging to add a seal. But, it's truly a great product, that would be 5 stars if it weren't for the packaging and mess.
