Vest is well made but not good for very large German Shepherds; Leash NOT GOOD
We purchased this for our nearly 2 year old German Shepherd (maybe around 75-80lbs). Although he is slim, he is long and tall so this vest barely fits his chest. It definitely keeps him calm during walks and runs and is not uncomfortable until he lays down (which is probably due to his size). He has to be standing to securely attach velcro and tabs, if he is sitting his chest is too large that the vest cannot be attached. The leash isn't strong enough for a strong large dog. I don't like the elastic give in it as my dog snapped it the first time we tried it. I usually use an alternative braided rope leash which is stronger with less give. Overall large vest is good for medium size dogs but definitely don't recommend the leash.

The Velcro didn't hold up
The problems with the construction was that the Velcro didn't last very long. It stopped sticking together. It's just a nuisance to keep trying to slide it back where it is supposed to be because it won't stay in place. I have to worry about the straps rubbing on my dogs skin. My suggestion would be to not have hooks around the neck but just adjustable straps in stead of hooks and Velcro. As for the chest I would contruct it the same way with a metal hook. I have a Siberian husky lab and she uses a size medium harness. My dog doesn't forcefully pull so the Velcro shouldn't of wore out. I would hate to see how long it holds up for a dog that does pull.

Large is way to small
I don't know how they figure out the size but I ordered the large and it was like trying to fit a small girdle on a fat lady. I even undid all the strapps and tried to custom fit it to him but there was just no way that was going on him. I have a 110 lb German Shepherd and it was fitting like it was a size small. I love the idea of it and the look, feel and structure, but there sizing is way off.

no bueno por nada
Dog hates it, it's uncomfortable and hard to get on and off.... medium size shepherd (pup) grew out of it in a month. not good to have a dog uncomfortable and distracted while trying to train. when he gets a few feet away he drops down and rolls around on his back trying to get it off... very cheaply made. absolute waste of time and money

It’s VERY HEAVY
It’s good for a large dog, def would not recommend on a small dog. My dog is an 11pound terrier & did not like the harness at all. It was so heavy, probably as heavy as him. He just stayed in place and didn’t even move. It’s very nice but not for a small/med dog.

Awesome craftsmanship
Awesome product! I am very happy with this investment. It provides my dog with better comfort on the leash ( as opposed to other harnesses). Another feature is the protection to the vital organs. In every neighborhood you’ll have that irresponsible dog owner who lets their aggressive dog run free in the streets. With this vest on, at least I know my dog has an added layer, in the event of a sudden attack. I bought this product 6 months ago and it still looks brand new. I felt it was worthy of a glowing review.

Dog harnest
What I didn't like about the dog harness is that ever since my dog kept chewing on it ,it was tired up and everytime my dog got loose it would rip we kept trying to sew it back up but that didn't solve the problem.

Very strong leash
I really like this leash… I really needed it when my dog was pulling all the time… But now my dog has learned to “heel” and he is very calm… This leash helped in this process.
