Apparently useless.
Tried to rough up the finish on a wooden frame in order to paint over it. This disc did not strip anything, gouged the wood, and was awkward to use.I cannot imagine what task this could be used for, in which it would be an improvement over stripper, sandpaper, steel wool, etc.

It cuts well, but does not score the surface.
I’m using the disks for polishing steel after plasma cutting. I do have to use a belt sander, or a flap disk first to remove chunks of dross (slag). The disk is mounted on an angle grinder. It cuts great and leaves a nice shiny finish.
