Pokemon How-to-Draw! Kit: Starting With All-Stars! Novelty Book – October 23, 2012

Bought for my 7 year old grandson as we could not find any Pokemon How to Draw books in our local stores. He wanted to draw these characters, so found them, of course, on Amazon. He does not want to put this book down and has already drawn every character in this book and given pics to everyone in the family. He absolutely loves these and would recommend to any beginner. It has all you need to draw. Erasers, pencils, pencil sharpener. crayons. poster to design and stickers to draw on to make your own. Also, a cute pencil/crayon zip up pouch with the pokemon figures on it and he loves it all. Would highly recommend. I have even had fun trying to attempt to draw some of these.

Got this as a present for my friend's 9 year old, he's been getting into drawing lately and he likes pokemon so I figured this would be the perfect x-mas present. He loved it, and I was impressed by how nice it was too. It has everything nicely packed inside, and it comes with an assortment of things for the aspiring little artist.

My daughter said "I liked that it came with just about everything you need, I didn't have to use any other art supplies. But I didn't like that they said it had 16 pages, when it really just had 8."I guess they were counting front and back. She got about two weeks of fun out of it.

My son loves this! The book is easy to follow with just a few steps for each Pokemon and how to draw them. My son very quickly started drawing and it wasn't too hard for him to get cute little pokemon drawing done and up on the wall. He is 6 and this is a perfect age for this kit. I think maybe up to 10 years old. The pencils and erasers were really nice and didn't seem like cheap ones at all.

Well lets see.......I used to suck at drawing my favorite Pokemon to the point where I could only draw stick figures....Now I have this and I can draw my fav Pokemon with NO problems,WOOOHOOOO!!!(the teaching of art in schools needs a overhaul,don't you agree?)Good luck soon to be Poke drawers! This book will give you the tools needed to be a great artist and one more thing I learned from this:Don't ever give up,even on a bad drawing because that bad drawing could become a masterpiece you know.

I love this drawing kit! My daughter used to doodle a lot and tried to draw Pokemons but they always turn out monster-ish as they are. I gave her this drawing kit for her birthday and i can say its one of her most priced possessions . This kit is always neatly put back in place when she is done drawing because she doesnt ever want to mess it up!. The kit came with a drawing instruction book which is very detailed step by step illustration of what lines to make and where. Came with a set of markers as well and a stack of paper that doesn't bleed trough.. Did i say i loved this kit??!

Honestly the only reason I give this 3 stars is because my nephew was so excited about it. The kit comes with two HUGE pencil topper erasers, a tiny pencil sharpener, one pokemon theme pencil, a couple of plastic extendable colored pencils, 4 card-sized blank paper frames to make pokemon stickers, a very thin pad of drawing paper, and most disappointingly of all, the book. The book is about as thin as the pad of paper. The Amazon page says there are more than 12 different pokemon you can draw but It didn't seem like that much. I think that my nephew enjoyed the Pokemon Black and White Handbook I got him more because of how many great pictures there are for him to practice drawing. This is the kind of kit you used to see at the bargain section of Barnes and Noble and other book stores for like 5 bucks.

My 7 year old received this as a gift. I have to admit that when I first looked at it, I was a little unsure on how well she would be able to understand the instructions. However, they were pretty clear since she needed no explanation and her first Pikachu drawing was spot on and the best drawing she has done!
