This game is SOOOO fun!! Also an improvement over prior LEGO games!
Oh my goodness I love this game! I'm a huge fan of the LEGO video games. I've played LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, LEGO Batman 2 and 3, LEGO Movie, LEGO Lord of the Rings, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. This game seems to be quite an improvement over a lot of these other games.Unlike the earlier games you don't have to play an entire hour until you come to a Save point. This means if you're tired and want to stop playing or need to leave you're not going to use a lot of game play. The characters in this game also show their unique abilities which I've never seen in a LEGO game before which will make Free Play MUCH easier.I also haven't had any spots where a character got stuck and I had to restart the game. In some of the prior games your character would get stuck under a staircase or eternally falling off a cliff and you could do nothing but quit and restart which was very frustrating.I love the actually audio clips from the movies and how closely the game levels follow the real movies. Of course there's the added humor that these games have. I love the end of the second Jurassic movie where they said the animals need to be left alone and it showed them playing badminton and drinking coffee!!! I also love how much Jeff Goldblum's character's daughter factored in the game play when she was a rather minor character in the movie. There's times when you get to play as the dinosaurs which is REALLY fun. There's other times when the action is going towards you with dinosaurs chasing you.All in all a super fun game. The graphics are beautiful, the puzzles challenging but not too much so that you're left stuck (AND if you ever do get stuck just Google walkthroughs online!)

Awesome - all four Jurassic movies included!!!
We LOVE Lego games. They are fun, always child appropriate, reasonably easy to play though with enough complexity to provide hours of entertainment. FYI - I would NOT let my 8 and 10 year old boys watch any of the Jurassic movies, as I feel they are too violent until the boys are at least pre-teen. But these games are totally appropriate and in the usual fun Lego version - no one dies (they may get disassembled, but then they come back together), and no blood or anything truly scary. So it is not true to the movies in this respect (which in our case was a good thing) but gives the basic major plotlines correctly. Lots of silly funny Lego additions. And with all four movies included, there's PLENTY to do and see and play!!!

Lego: Jurassic World
I haven't been playing for very long but I'm still really enjoying this game. it starts from the first Jurassic Park all the way to the new Jurassic World movie and just like Lego: Lord Of The Rings, this game uses the original audios from the movies for the character's voices. so Allen Grant and Ellie Sattler sound exactly the same as they did in the movies. but not ALL of the voices are the same. you'll notice a few side characters who only had a few minutes of screen time have different voices now. but its nothing annoying so you don't have to worry about muting your TV when certain side characters appear. The island of Isla Sorna and Isla Nebular are almost completely open world! the reason I say ALMOST is because there are a few areas you cant go such as ponds and mountains. if you jump into a deep river/lake, your character will just jump right out of it and you cant climb still hills/cliffs. but you can still visit many locations on the island you're on. while the island is big, its not The Elder Scrolls big so you shouldn't expect to be spending days on this game trying to chart every location on the map. you have a big map to explore, its just not gigantic. So far I've only seen a few glitches like when I'm free roaming the map, my companion will suddenly get stuck where ever he/she is standing and will moon walk in place. another glitch is when I get into the passenger seat of a vehicle, the camera will zoom in WAY too close and it'll clip through the dash board or will be sitting underneath your character making it so you can see where you're going. but thankfully this doesn't happen when I'm in the driver's seat. but these are the only glitches I've seen so far and they shouldn't get in the way of your fun.Another great thing about this game is that you can play as the dinosaurs! but not all of them from the beginning. even when you unlock the T-Rex that doesn't mean you can play as her when ever you want. but you can still create your own special breed of dinosaurs with their own special abilities. like giving a Raptor the T-Rex's roar and bite force, or make a carnivorous Triceratops, or create a Spinarex (Spinosaurus + T-Rex) I haven't unlocked all the parts yet so I don't know the full extent of what you can do with dino hybrids (but I do know that you can only change the head, torso, tail, and details like colors. you cant swap out the arms and legs for wings or Raptor legs) but this is still an enjoyable part of the game. This game has a lot of funny jokes in it. I wont spoil anything but I will warn you that it does have some crude humor involving dinosaur poop. if you remember in the first movie when the Triceratops was sick and Ellie Sattler was digging through its "leavings" to figure out what was wrong with her, that kinda happens here. but Ellie doesn't just stick her hand into a pile of poop, she also jumps into the air and dives into it like a swimming pool. so this is just a little warning for if you don't like poop jokes to look away when your character needs to do some... "searching" in a big pile of you know what. But anyway, if you're a fan of Lego and Jurassic Park, then this game is worth a buy. :D
