Reproduction from circa 1904. This 34" bat design is based on vintage bat profiles researched at the Baseball Hall of Fame. The bat features two rings, the second called a shoulder was added to create better grip and bat control. Usable for re-enactment play or as a unique conversation piece. The golden oak finish completes the vintage feel of this bat. Our replica bats are hand turned and will vary slightly. Cooperstown Bat Company was established in Cooperstown, NY, the Home of Baseball, in 1981 and is currently one of the oldest bat companies in the United States. Our first bats were for the collector or hand personalized for the fan. Cooperstown Bat worked, and still does, with Hall of Famers to create amazing pieces of art to be autographed and collected. Cooperstown Bat in the present day makes professional quality game use bats for players of all ages. Our pro model bats are made from hand split maple, ash, and yellow birch all from within a 350-mile radius of Cooperstown. Upstate New York hard woods are known across the bat making industry as the best wood on the planet. Each billet is hand selected and turned individually on our lathe. As we do not currently have big leaguers using our bats, our best pro wood goes to you our customers.
