Ordered for a wedding to go with black suit. Material is perfect..not too thin, or too thick. Does have pockets you just have to do a little snip inside the flap because it appears to be sewn shut. It is a tailor trick for those who want them open or shut. Sizing? I read the reviews of others and am glad I ordered a size up from reg suit size (suit: 48 Reg so ordered 50 Reg in vest) Looks great with the suit or without suit coat. You will be pleased with this purchase!

These are great for the price. I wear a 52R suit, ordered a 54R in this to make sure it was big enough but was too small and had to order again. Order two sizes larger than you think you need.

Excellent price, good quality. Pockets come stitched (like most suits) but unpick the stitches and there are actual pockets there. they'll hold about 2"x3", relatively narrow objects (15-stick pack of gum, business-card case, or both with a small bulge). Adjustment is easy, but the strap slips fairly easily. Best to pin it with a safety-pin, once you have your fit.

We bought this for the groomsmen and they look so handsome!! Would definitely recommend and it looks expensive with a good fit!

I had ordered vests of another brand but they did not have the color I wanted. I ordered this one and guessed at the size. I wear a 52 in the other brand and ordered 2X in this brand. It fit better than the other brand! Beyond that, the quality is better, it is longer (which I really like), and looks better. I will definitely order this again in another color.

The vest was fine, but the sizing chart is wrong. It says the 34r has a 38 chest, but it was way smaller than that. I have a 36 chest and couldn't even button it closed. It's a shame because the vest was nice, but I couldn't wear it. Then when I returned it, I wasn't refunded the full amount because the seller stated amazon's policy is if there is nothing wrong with it, I shouldn't be given the full amount. Seems wrong when the sizing chart is clearly off.

After reading the reviews of this item knowing normally that my size is a 54 Regular. I took the advice of fellow reviewers and went "2 SIZES UP" and that was right on point! I just missed One just detail. And that was I wanted a Dark Blue Vest with a Dark Backing but I hit the one with the Light Backing! So I Quickly returned and ordered the other!!! So if you are a big Guy like me! Remember "2 SIZES UP" like "Dexter Gordons song "ONE FLIGHT UP" you go for two. "For those who Know"!!!
