Awesome book! BUY IT!
LOVED this study guide! I went online and must have read hundreds of reviews looking for a good study guide and this was the best I found and I'm happy that I bought it. When I bought this book and decided to study for my LSAT I knew absolutely ZERO about this test, so this book taught me everything from the ground up, it was super easy to understand, explained things really well, and had tons of practice questions along the way so that I could learn everything bit by bit until it made sense to me. Logic Games were by far the most difficult for me to master, and this does a great job of explaining them, but I did end up buying a second book specifically for logic games, mostly because I needed more practice questions to work with. I took two of the six practice tests, both after I'd finished the book because I didn't want to set myself up to fail by taking one "just to see where I'm at." On the first test I got a 146, and the second I got a 149. The day of my actual LSAT test I got a 154 on my LSAT, which is reasonably good considering a friend of mine got a 139 the day of the test.I spent about 2 1/2 months studying for the test a few nights a week, and I'm sure if I'd studied longer I would have done slightly better but I got into the law school I wanted to be in and that's what matters right?! Awesome book!

Great Purchase / Investment
The book is informative regarding all sections of the LSAT. It has information you can find with other study materials. The best aspect is the online /app feature that allows you to take practice exams online. The book comes with 6 practice exams along with the option to access additional information online. Worth the purchase based on content offered and price of book.

Good prep--but a condensed version would be gold.
Strong material and helpful hints, but its main weakness is the sheer volume of text to wade through in order to get a feel for how each section of the test goes.

When I decided to finally take the LSATs I knew I needed to be prepared for them fully before even trying to attempt the test. I asked around and the KAPLAN brand was what was recommended amongst almost everyone I talked to who have already attended law school. The book is extremely simple to use. Gives you all the information from 1 to 10 and I personally think it is amazing. There are interactive pages that you have to fill in as you go and the pages don't get ruined in you write in them and highlight. The book comes with an online component for additional studying which I have not tried yet but will update when I do.

Printing Error P.104-132
I don't leave a lot of reviews but upon logging on to the Kaplan website and registering my book, it looks like a large amount of copies have a bunch of printing errors that consist of empty spaces/bullet points where explanations are supposed to be. There's a a PDF online that Kaplan released the drawback is: it is 30 pages-- which will cost another $5 and a trip to Kinko's. Kaplan is a huge publisher and this seems very unprofessional. The book is a little too wordy (goes deeply obvious into a lot of explanations). I'm supplementing my studies with more books/classes. Still, I do see a lot of students using this book as a means to get their first taste of the study materials, as am I, which why a glaring mistake like this makes me so irritated.

Highly recommend!
Wonderful tool for prepping for the LSAT. Offered step by step instruction and tips and lots of practice. Book is interactive, which I thought was great, so you can write in it for the step by step practice. The online tools you get with the book also help set out a study schedule and offer videos.

Great value
A lot for the value! You get the book, a DVD, some online support. A lot of good resources just by buying the book. I'm using it along with one of their online courses and I really feel like it'll help prepare me for the test.

Basically the same as last year's edition-a ripoff
I've never left a review of an item before, but I'm so irritated by Kaplan's tactics that I now have to do so. Last year, I purchased the 2014 edition of this book, and found the prep materials really useful. I decided to take the test again and wanted to buy the next edition, assuming that the PrepTests would be updated-you know, mainly because the front of the book says "Updated with new PrepTests." But apparently, although Kaplan is excellent at teaching logic, they aren't great at implementing it. Logically, "new PrepTests" would mean newer materials than last year's edition, but the "new PrepTests" in 2015's editions are absolutely identical to the ones from the 2014 edition-so, essentially, not new at all. Also, I bought this book because of the "mobile" component advertised on the front cover; other, less expensive versions did not include mobile anywhere in the description or on the cover. As far as I can tell, the mobile component is simply a free app that anyone could download on the app store.I don't mean to be mean-spirited or hyper critical. I found last year's book really useful. But I'm truly put out to have wasted $40 on what is essentially the same as last year's book.If I hadn't already made markings with permanent marker in part of this book, it would already be on its way back. If you're looking for updated materials, don't waste your money.

Good book, but extremely overwhelming and in some ways too much information. Great sections for practice which force you to develop the skills being taught. requires a determined reader.
