I’m embarrassed to say I bought this after watching Clarkson’s Farm re: health benefits of taking lion’s mane mushrooms for things like attentiveness, and though I’m not clear if I’m benefiting or just experiencing a placebo effect, at least the earthy smell of the powder doesn’t translate into any kind of flavor at all in my coffee. It also dissolves beautifully.

I used to purchase the OM brand for Lion's Mane, but as a result of the increased cost of living and expenses from the current admin's policies, I had to find an alternative. I already purchase many Nutricost products for its great price to quantity and purity advantages, so I gave this a try. While I enjoyed the chocolaty flavor of the OM product, the earthy, mushroomy flavor of the Nutricost product is not bad at all. It is palatable on its own. I mix it in with my coffee and add a scoop of Cocoa powder for its antioxidant properties. The quantity vs. cost factor is very good, but I do wish the Nutricost product had a chocolaty flavor like the OM product, as I thoroughly relished it.

I've been taking this supplement for a few weeks now. I mix it into my morning coffee, which I find to be the easiest way to take it since it blends well with hot liquids. While I haven't noticed any major changes in my mood or energy levels, I like to think it's still contributing positively to my overall well-being. One thing I'd like to point out is that I've read some reviews mentioning a weird fishy smell—something I haven’t experienced at all. The smell isn’t strong, and if I really put my nose to it, it just has this mild dry mushroom scent—like the kind you’d use for making soup. I actually like the smell and don’t find it weird or unpleasant in any way. That said, the complaints about the smell might come down to personal preference or variation in batches, depending on the mushrooms used. Overall, I’m happy with this supplement and would recommend trying it out to see if it improves your health.

Bought the smaller size cause people were saying the big tub size went bad or something. Must still be part of one giant sized production lot if lions mane is actually supposed to be a white-ish powder. Doesn't smell burnt, just like that flaky fish food you'd feed your goldfish from the 90's lol. Have bee. Using it regardless, so far no bad side affects of any kind, and as long as you mix it some protein of some sort you don't notice any flavor. But, it does what I ask; I do notice mental focus and reduction of "brain fog."

I saw many good reviews about this product so I got 1. But it has not worked for me even after taking it 1 month continuously with my coffee. I still feel im suffering from brain fog and less focus
