Works great, a lot less expensive!
Works great with Leica D-Lux 8. Make sure to turn off the WiFi and the Bluetooth connections, since they chew battery power up like crazy

Good replacement batteries
My Nikon Coolpix battery died after some time of being left uncharged. It happens, especially with Lithium Ion batteries. I eventually decided it'd be worth the money to get this, and so I did. Turns out it was a great investment. The brick itself has a built-in AC plug for USA homes, and comes with a converter for I'm guessing European outlets. The car charger part is a cable that plugs into the top. Mine shipped with a coiled cable, which is great for portability since it seems to be very tight. This package comes with two batteries, not just one. Pros Two batteries plus a dual house and car charger all at a great price I've rarely had to charge the one battery I've used, let alone touch the other one Batteries are higher rated than original Nikon EN-EL12 while still the same form factor. Cons Household plug swivel system feels a bit clunky. I'd recommend being gentle. If you need spare batteries, or if your Nikon's stock battery died, this is a good replacement for the price.

Works as advertised - great deal
A couple of months ago I purchased a Nikon Coolpix S6300 at Costco. The camera kit did not include a charger (had to charge the battery in the camera through a micro USB cable - lame). I wanted to purchase a spare battery and charger for traveling. I purchased this particular charger kit because it had a folding plug and included TWO batteries. The car charger was a bonus, and the price was great - basically the same price as a wall charger and ONE battery from other manfs. The charger works well, it's light weight (nice for travel), charges both the original Nikon and Wasabi batteries at the same speed (1/2 - 1 hr depending on how drained the battery is). The Wasabi batteries seem to last as long in use as the original Nikon battery, but I haven't done any rigorous measuring. Disclaimer: On an unusual customer service note, a representative of Blue Nook (manf of the charger) called me to see how the charger was working for me, and offered to send me an additional battery if I would write a review. Since the charger is working perfectly, I agreed - and appreciated the offer of an additional battery - can't have too many.

"Premium Cells from Japan" but "Made in China"
I just received the batteries and charger, and hope to be able to revise the review after I've charged the batteries and used them, to indicate that they perform as well as the Nikon-manufactured batteries. But it should be observed that the batteries pictured indicate "Premium Cells from Japan;" and the text says "3.7V, 1450 mAh, Japanese cells." The reverse side says "Made in China." There is incomplete information in the Amazon description about where the batteries are manufactured, which I assume came from Wasabi. Stay tuned. Update: December 15, 2013. The Wasabi batteries don't last as long - one battery lasted for +/-100 pix; one lasted for +/-75 pix. The Nikon battery that came with the Nikon S9500 lasted for +/-150 pix. The mAh is stated as 1450 on the Wasabi, and 1050 on the Nikon (mAh is battery life; higher the number the better). That's not accurate, based on my experience, as the Wasabi should be less than Nikon (or the Nikon should be more). The value is really in the charger, which Nikon should have included, rather than its cumbersome system of charging in the camera. The charger charged the Nikon battery fine. So, aside from the misleading product description, and no reference to place of manufacture, I'm ok. To be complete, Nikon's battery appears not be made entirely in Japan either, but is "processed" in Indonesia.

great value for the price
I desperately needed a charger for my Nikon S8000 since the cable that came with it no longer functioned with the camera. Figured for $20 - not a bad deal for a charger, plus 2 additional batteries. Received them a few days ago, and was able to charge up both the original Nikon battery, plus the 2 additional batteries that came with it. I used one of the Wasabi batteries, and although I haven't given the camera a good workout, so far no issues. I've purposefully left the camera on for a few hours, and no noticable draining of battery. All weekend I would power camera back on whenever possible to scan through all the previous photos on camera, and battery status still shows as a full charge. The car charger was an extra bonus. I have a portable solar charger that uses this type of adapter, so now I won't have to worry about losing any battery life while on the road, or out camping. When I'm able to give the camera & batteries a more thorough workout, and the battery life doesn't match up, I'll adjust the review, but so far, very pleased with purchase.

I lost the original charger fm Nikon and went on the lookout for a decent substitute. After a bit of research this product came up and I decided to go for it as I figured I had nothing to lose based on the price. Everything came in exactly as advertised, and although I cannot vouch for the long-term durability of the power cells, I can definitely say I am more than satisfied with the product. Not only that, but the charger is actually better designed than the original Nikon, which require you to carry a three feet cord everywhere you go (Annoyance when travelling). This charger plugs straight into the wall, and even comes with an adapter for the European countries, and a car adapter.

I have had this charger and batteries for a few months now. I bought them to use in my Nikon B600. The charger worked for 1-2 charges of the batteries but now reads dead batteries as fully charged. I also found the battery life very short on the batteries the charger charged. Now that the charger is junk, I charge the batteries in the camera and they last 2-3 times longer. no issue with the batteries yet so we will see how long they last.
