FEEL, LOOK, QUALITY,
added them to my Rootdown I use for Urban assault, and they are perfect. price is justified. I wish I would have got them earlier; my crank arms are scratched from the narrower Race face pedals I had before. this one's keep me 3/4" away from it.

Incredible Pedals if You Want a Lot of Grip
Tons of grip. My feet always feel secure when riding with the Dagga's. Similar to being clipped in, except that you can't pull up of course. Beautiful and well well-built pedal that should last a lifetime. Not light, but respectable in this category. Large platform that allows for excellent stability. Adjustable grip via pins, with extra included. I watched a ton of reviews, and was dead set on the new Race Face Atlas. Unfortunately I really didn't like them due to the large inboard bearing. I just felt really insecure on the Atlas, and was never sure if my foot was on the pedal. No such issues on the Cromag Dagga. The axle sticks up a tiny bit, but is barely noticeable, and you can position your foot against the crank for added stability if needed. I couldn't be happier overall. They are expensive, but worth the money in my opinion. Previously I had a pair of composite iSSi Thump pedals, and never had a problem with them. However, they are not as grippy or stable as these pedals. If you slip it will hurt of course, but they are so secure I've never had that problem. I tried the Atlas, and looked into DMR Vault, OneUp, PNW, Nukeproof, Shimano, etc. There are other good pedals, but for all out grip for downhill or enduro, with respectable weight, good looks, solid build quality, and thin profile, you can't go wrong with the Dagga in my opinion.

Excellent grip. Nice wide pedal.
I put these pedals on my road bike. I've had an ACL replacement in the past and have no interest in going clipless, so these are a nice substitute. The only thing missing from my pedal stroke is the ability to pull up. I would advise using a shoe with a thick sole like 5 ten freeride pros as the pins are really long.

Be carefull with the best
These keep the shoes glued to the pedals 100% of the time. Better get some shin protection as these razor blades don't mess around.

Squeaky $200 Pedals
The media could not be loaded. I did like the platform and grip. I tried these and Raceface Altus pedals. Wanted to try the TMacs too, but wasn’t able to get ahold of a pair quickly enough. I used a ton of grease and it did absolutely nothing. Possibly could be fixed by taking completely apart which I refuse to do after spending $200 on a set of pedals. At that price I feel like they should come ready to install with no issues. It is so frustrating and hard to find any decent products nowadays no matter how much you spend. While I originally picked these over the atlas (I felt just a little more comfortable on the dagga’s, but qc seems very sketchy with that company, so most likely sticking with the atlas or ordering some TMacs. Anymore issues with these and back to cheap composites. I did read that noise was a known issue with the dagga’s but chose to roll the dice. See the video and turn up the sound. Also be aware that it’s MUCH worse the harder you pedal. Hope this helps others make an informed decision. Best of luck and stay safe out there!
