YYMIYU Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette Pan Cast Iron Wooden Handle 9×7 inch
Favorite pan for omelets or breakfast burritos. Cast iron, easily seasoned. Heats and cooks evenly, with no hotspots and no sticking. Makes a perfect rolled and layered omelet. I use medium low heat, 3.5 to 4 on a scale from 1 to 9 (high). I cook with this pan on an old electric cooktop with an analog rheostat, or induction. It performs well on gas burner and also over open coals or wood stove. But the old electric cooktop element or induction is my preference with this gem. I put a few light coats of mineral oil on the handle over the course of a three days. Then seasoned the iron with several light coats of canola oil, three to five times daily, for three days on the stove; medium heat with light coats of oil or spray. Wipe the excess oil for thin even coats, let it cool down slowly, rest, repeat. No need to use an oven for seasoning this bad boy. . Easy cleanup. Rinse and wipe with hot water, wipe dry, warm it up to evaporate residual water, apply a light even coat of cooking oil on the cook surface and handle, let it cool down. It's a good handle, if maintained it will last a long time. Same goes for the iron. This is an excellent quality iron pan, full tang with wood handle

Excellent pan. Excellent Customer Service.
Excellent pan…exactly what I have been looking for. Is there a way to order an additional wooden handle? Adding to my previous review: I asked for a new wooden handle because my original handle was inadvertently left in the hot oven. The customer service was quick to respond and sent me a new handle at no cost. They also followed up at every step. The service was quick and very professional….something you don’t often see these days. Thank you!!

Authentic cast iron tamagoyaki pan with sturdy wooden handle
This cast iron tamagoyaki pan is a joy to cook with. The 9x7 inch size is just right for rolled omelets, and once seasoned, the eggs cook evenly and release beautifully. The heat retention is excellent, giving you consistent results every time. One of my favorite features is the wooden handle — after oiling it, the wood feels smooth, sturdy, and comfortable in the hand. It adds a nice traditional touch and makes the pan easier to maneuver compared to bare cast iron handles. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, like all cast iron, it requires a bit more care to keep it seasoned and rust‑free. Still, it’s a well‑made pan that delivers authentic results, and I’ve already made some of my best tamagoyaki with it.

Sturdy and Healthier than NonStick Pans
I’ve been wanting to try out cast iron pans for their health benefits over non-stick pans. This pan has some weight to it, is really good quality, and comes with instructions for seasoning and care. It also has all the tools necessary for cooking Japanese omelette and even a scrubber for cleaning the pan! I would 100% recommend for others looking to try it out!

Well made
Good quality pan. Well made, good weight and accessories included. Looks good and easy to clean a few minutes after cooking. Non stick if seasoned well.

Who can say no to tamagoyaki?
Fantastic pan, built of the highest quality. Tamagoyaki is easily my family's new favorite breakfast item. The pan was easy to season, and was immediately nonstick. Some reviews mentioned the size, but to me it's perfect. I can do a very elegant roll with two eggs, or a bigger one with three eggs. But more often I'll crack 5 eggs and cook two rolls for the whole family

Manufacturing Flaw
I wish I could cook with this, but the manufacturing was so bad that I could not even screw the handle into the pan. The hole drilled through the wooden handle was completely messed up -- it was not even centered and on the inside, it was not a straight drill job either! I put the rod through the wood handle and it would only stick out on the edge of the handle, not perfectly in the middle like it needs to be, so I can screw it into the pan. Someone got really lax on checking this for quality workmanship. What a waste.

Hier brennt nichts an.
