SpeckProducts StyleFolio Case for iPad Mini/2/3 - Black/Slate Grey (Does not fit iPad mini 4)

I don't usually write reviews but I think this case, the company & their customer service is worth of a good review.I have owned several Speck iPhone cases & have loved everyone of them. They are durable, attractive & do a good job protecting the phones.Last December I decided to get myself an iPad Mini & opted for the Speck StyleFolio Case because of the reviews & my personal experience with the iPhone cases.The case has been excellent. It does everything they claim it does & it really does a good job of protecting my iPhone. The couple of times it dropped from a coffee table everything was fine... the case was fine & the tablet was fine. I can't say enough good things about the case.Last week I was in the doctor's office trying to keep busy while waiting & I noticed a the corner of the case had a sharp edge. When I looked closer I noticed it had a crack. I looked at Speck's website & decided to submit a claim since it was within the 1 year warranty. I submitted it with photos & a day later I get an email confirming receipt. That was 9/13/17. They aid they were forwarding it to the warranty department & I would get an email in 3-5 days Ok, so here it is 2 days later & what do I find in my mail box but a brand new Case. I was in shock. I never submitted a claim for anything to them so I didn't even know if it would be accepted but all I can say is WOW, what great service. What a great company, what a great product & what great service.!

Very well made and attractive design, fits my iPad mini II perfectly. I bought this brand because I have the same one for my Kindle Fire and same thing, it fits the Kindle very well and is a nice design. It opens and closes easily and the little loop closure keeps the case securely closed. The iPad awakens when the case is open and is put back to sleep when the cover is closed. All the cut outs for the camera, charger, etc are all in the correct locations. The cover can be closed when charging, which is nice. For the speakers the case is slightly raised in those areas, not cut out, so the cover adds protection to the speakers while still totally being able to hear sounds. The color is a very pretty forest green color, medium hue, with contrasting blue on the inside. There is no separate screen protector. I'm happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Lives up to the expectations! This is my second Speck StyleFolio case for iPad Mini; I had my first for over 2 years and it held up great with very little wear only some slight peeling of the inside leather. Over 8 months ago I upgraded to this new model and it has held up perfectly. This case is great for anyone who uses his or her iPad for reading, surfing the web etc. My favorite features of the case include:• Strong leather/plastic case that protects while still being light weight enough to hold for long periods of time• Adjustable stand holds iPad in several positions• Plastic clip to secure iPad while out of use or to clip front cover back while in useMy iPad gets the most use for reading books on my Kindle app and reading recipes while cooking or baking. This case works better than others on the market for both tasks. When reading I am able to clip back the front cover and hold the iPad for hours thanks to the lightweight case. While cooking I am able to use the stand feature to view recipes, adjustable to any glare or lighting situations. The stand is very sturdy and has never fallen, an important feature!I have recommended this to several others who have iPad Minis and have heard back only great things. A family member who uses their iPad Mini for more hours per day than myself raved about the sturdiness of the stand and the ability to wipe down the outer leather with a damp cloth. I highly recommend this case for the iPad Mini. In the past I have used the Apple smart cover and did not find my iPad Mini as useful when utilizing the smart cover.Simply put, I use my iPad MORE and with greater satisfaction than previously thanks to this product.

This fits perfectly on my iPad Mini2. The iPad fits snugly to stay in place. There is a plastic latch that keeps the front flap closed while not in use. (it just snaps closed, no option to 'lock' it.) This keeps it closed while in your purse or bag, or if you drop it. It's sturdy and holds up well. I replaced the same model case that I used for 2+ years before the plastic latch broke and I decided to replace it. Would definitely recommend for a sturdy but not bulky latchable case for iPad Mini2.

Color is accurate as displayed on my monitor. Quality is good - material doesn't look cheap and should stand up well to wear and tear. The case functions well, as advertised. It folds in various positions that are comfortable for viewing, and feels secure in those positions. The back of the case seems strong and should protect sufficiently from drops. It is thick, yet the overall case doesn't feel bulky - well balanced. Does not add significant weight to the iPad mini. I didn't give it five stars because the fold in the cover doesn't stay totally flat. It could be that with time it softens up so that the cover is flat when closed. The catch does keep the cover securely closed at all times. I will update this review and increase the rating if over time the cover does lie flat.

I've bought several ipad mini cases and this is by far my favorite.It stays in position and doesn't slide out of the grooves.I love the clasp, it feels safe and secure when closed.Closing the cover shuts the ipad off right away. I didn't think I'd like that feature, however now that I'm using it, I think it's great.Someone mentioned the smell when you first open the package.It is strong and gave me a headache.Warning to anyone with environmental sensitivities, open in a well ventilated area. (or have someone else open it).The smell did dissipate quite quickly. Faster than I thought it would.I am quite happy with this case. I just wish it was a little less expensive.I expect this case to last a real long time.It does not have an odor anymore.

Pratique pour une ancienne tablette de 3 génération.La housse semble bien protégée l ensemble et est assez bien conçue, notamment pour les différentes positions possibles.

Je n’achète que des étuis Speck pour mon iPad et ce depuis des années. Ils sont juste excellents. Ils sont solides, bien conçus et pratiques. J’aime le système de fermeture efficace que je ne retrouve chez aucune autre marque. De plus les couleurs sont sympas. Produit vivement recommandé!
