PetConfirm - Dog & Cat General Wellness Instant Home Testing Kit - Two Tests Per Kit For Urinary Tract Infections (UTI), Kidney Failure and Diabetes With Urine Sample

Our 2yr old shih tzu was urinating frequently and taking a long time to do it and we started to see blood in her urine - vet confirmed she had a UTI and bladder stones. There was a strong chance the stones would dissolve with prescribed food/diet - but over months. I want to follow her progress - she does not demonstrate high discomfort, but I didn't want her in any pain. The vet charges $$$ for testing & appt, which is obnoxious. With these at home test results I can extend the time between vet rechecks and be confident she's healing - of course, if the results went the other way, I would know that too, and would get her back to the vet sooner than later. Also, there's a high likelihood she'll have this tendency for UTI's all her life - I can retest periodically and be ahead of any future problems. I specifically recommend the PetConfirm/Confirm Biosciences UTI test for dogs, in case there are copycat systems out there. This test itself is very easy and tidy, with almost immediate results. I'm reordering another couple sets to have on hand.

Tried this product on my new puppy. One of the results was half blue and half yellow. The first two matched up and were normal. So I decided to use this test kit again on my other dog and the result was the same. I believe the kit is defective. My puppy sometimes pees in his sleep that’s why we tested. no signs of illness. Nowhere on the packaging is there anything about a result being 2 colors. Is it negative or positive??? The pictures show each test has same weird result.

Our dog suddenly started marking in the house so we wanted to test to be sure there weren’t some medical issues associated. The test worked perfectly! No issues! Just a dog trying to make us crazy after we had another dog visitor.I would recommend having something in mind for how you will chase the dog and collect the urine though. That was a fun process! :)

This kit was moderately difficult to use and results were very unclear. I had to use both tests at the same time and still did not get a clear answer. Very disappointing and not worth the money.

Works if you're just concerned about your pet but isnt super accurate for a diabetic dog.

Garbage. Used both. Both showed UTI. Brought dog to vet. No UTI. Want my money and time back.

My sunshine has been drinking tons of water lately and of course, I started to get a little worried about his health. Wanted to test for as much as I could with a urine sample and this kit tested 3 things! Not only is it cute, it worked great. Now I have some peace of mind because the results came back normal.

Did not contain color chart to compare test strip too, useless without this. Not happy.
