Q: how are these mailed? do they come in a box, envelope, etc.?

Ruth. From what I recall, the postcards were in a clear plastic bag of sorts, nothing fancy but that didn't bother me. I uses them as cards for guests at my son's wedding. The wedding guests filled them out with advice to the couple or whatever they wanted to say, then on their 1st wedding anniversary, my son and my daughter-in-law will read them (they are in a sealed envelope right now!). The postcards are very colorful and we'll done. The cardstock used was substantial. I was very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend them!
