Res-Q-Me Keychain Escape Tool - Black

The Res-Q-Me was a great asset to have, especially since it is located so close to you at all times -- as long as you have your keys with you. It's somewhat bulky, but you get used to it, especially if you're like me and you use a clip to hang your keys off of a belt loop.I had an older Res-Q-Me for about 2-3 years. It was yellow, felt a bit cheaper in comparison to this one, but it lasted for a couple of years. The blade for the seat belt cutter started to rust a bit and dulled, and the window punch would work less than half of the time; it was as if the spring was broken or would wobble around inside, not allowing the spike to sit properly. I decided it was time for an upgrade when I found this new version.Once it got to my house I was extremely satisfied. It felt thicker, stronger and the black color looked cooler and didn't stand out as much when I'd be walking around wherever, whenever. The packaging was fine overall, and I equipped it as soon as I got it, as happy as can be.Fast forward to a couple of weeks later. I am at my house and go to grab my keys, but something is missing... The Res-Q-Me is gone. The clip that it holds onto is stil there, but the Res-Q-Me itself was nowhere to be seen. I searched high and low -- nothing. What brought down my rating of this product was that I had originally had the prior Res-Q-Me (Ironically the "cheaper" feeling one) for a much longer duration of time and that never fell off. I never lost it, despite my throwing my keys on my couch or running around. Now I have this for a couple of weeks and it's gone? I remember the old one you'd have to really tug on it to pull the Res-Q-Me off the holder, but apparently not for this one.I hope to order a new one in the future, but for now I am sticking with a rescue knife I purchased that has a seatbelt cutter and window punch spike on the bottom.

My res-q-me keychain helps me to feel more at ease while driving. I have luckily never had to use it but I feel good knowing that I have something to help me if the need ever does arise. I worried about getting out of my car if an accident every happened and my children or I was stuck inside, having the res-q-me helps me feel safer. Since getting this one, 5 other people in my family have purchased them as well.My brother tried it on a glass bottle to see if it would really break glass and it actually did. We're all very happy to have them!

These are great. It is cheap insurance that you will always be ready. I hang these along with a small flashlight from the review mirror of all of my families car. The cap that protects you from the razor blade has a hole in it so you can hook it to you key chain or to a rope. You can just yank on it and it will pop off and you are ready to go. The blade is sharp and will have no issues cutting through the seat belt. The automatic center punch will make short work of a window in case of and emergency . While being trapped in a car is pretty unlikely, the stakes are high and this little piece of insurance is cheap.

It's cool and great to have in an emergency (so I hear from all the YouTubers that reviewed this). That's why I got it. But so far it's only made my keyring heavier. So, we'll see if my opinion changes in the future. If it does, I will update.

Thankfully i haven't had an opportunity to use this. Many paramedics recommend having this gadget on your car key chain so i purchased it. it looks exactly like promised and it looks very sturdy. I have purchased a few for my love ones and i would definitely recommend that everyone carry one around.

This is a must have, I am a 911 Dispatcher, after attending a class where people died because they couldn't or wouldn't get out of their sinking cars, I made sure my family had one. this brand is perfect ... I bought one for each of my family for their stocking,

While it is a tad bulky in the pocket it is tiny for what it can do. I live in Washington and spend a lot of time driving over bridges so I felt this was a must.

Keep in your vehicle incase of emergency or if you see a child or pet in distress that has been left in a car unattended.
