Replaced this part ourselves in our maytag washer. Part was over $100 on other sites. Was not expecting much for the cost but has worked great!

I received this Bluestars washer drain pump well packaged in excellent condition. Out of the box excellent quality construction with a reinforced metal plate mount. My daughter told me her Maytag washing machine wasn't draining and there was a burning rubber smell. I told her to unplug the machine and I will fix it. I ordered this drain pump that matches the oem part# and a belt from Bluestars also matches oem part# with next day delivery. Quick easy to replace the pump & belt tilting the washing machine backwards to access underneath then grab the belt pulling out while rotating the transmission pulley to slide it off then off the pump and motor pulleys. Then remove the 3 5/16" head screws from the back access panel, remove the 2 hoses from the pump, and remove the 3 3/8" head screws from the pump mount. Reverse the process for installation on the drain pump then reverse the process for the belt wrapping around the pump and motor pulleys then slide it on the transmission pulley while rotating. Both fit perfect and her 20yr old Maytag washing machine is working properly again after $38 with tax cost for the pump & belt and around 30 minutes of my time to replace both. Highly recommended.
