Franke Wave (3794R-H, 3794R-C) Valve Replacement Catridge Spare - Pair

I have had a Franke WAVE for 8 years. In that time I have replaced the handles, the cartridges about 3 times and various screws and rubber washer. Good taps in use but a bit of a maintenance nightmare.Before replacing the cartridges you may want to just take them out and descale them - often the drip can be due to building of dirt between the ceramic plates and a clean will resolve it. If not then buy these. At less than £15 they are much cheaper than the official versions at £35.The allen key that comes with this set is too small so get your own. Turn water off, put the handles down 9into the on position) and then unscrew the grub screws. Pull the handle off (sideways). You then need to unscrew (flathead or X) a screw which holds on a white thing that the handle slides on to. Once this is off you can take the cartridge off. I couldn't get to it with my spanner so used a socket set.I can confirm these work. They made a rumbling noise for the first day or two but that has gone. They is also a bit stiff but this should loosen up over time.If any of the other bits are damaged when you take the handle off, you can buy them from the official spare parts supplier for a few quid.

Nothing worse for me than a dripping tap.My hubby tried the manufacturer for a replacement and was told they no longer stocked them.After researching, he came across these. A phone call later, and he was ordering a set.It’s easy to replace, works a treat. No more drips.For now anyway. They tend to last for about a year or so.

As expected, great service and on time.

Sadly the replacement cartridge for my Franke Wave tap did not work. Once fitted/tightened into place, it did not twist on and off. Requested refund which has been approved.
