Great light switch
Worked as advertised. Yay

Works well on the first day I installed it.
The switch seems to be of decent quality and most appropriate for use in a dry setting. I would not use it outdoors. Switch was easy to install once I figured out the schematics that were included in the package. A number of people have given different advice in their reviews on how to wire the switch, but I found it to only work when I followed the instructions (rather than using the "tips" from some of the other reviews which didn't work for me). I don't yet know how long this switch will last but it's working for now and I'm happy with it. I even bought a second one.

Well it works
Got 4 stars because of the instructions. Took me a while to get it working, but it works fine. I was replacing the spot light(s) switch on my RTV and the wiring configuration that finally worked was this.-connected the red and white "switch" wires together. Then connected them to the hot wire (red) coming from the lights.- connected the blue "switch" wire to the common (white) wire coming from the lights.- connected the black "switch" wire to the ground (black) wire coming from the lights.-did nothing with the brown "switch"wire. Now the hot wire coming from my lights, is connected to my RTV ignition switch so the halo switch only lights up when the RTVs ignition switch is on, but your lights etc. may not run through the ignition switch. Not a problem unless you forget to turn them off.

Nice, premium looking switch
I used this switch to control some add-on lights on my car. I like how it's a push button and not a typical toggle. At 19mm it's not that large, so it's easy to find a location to install it.

Prepare to get frustrated trying to wire this correctly
Make sure that whenever you are ready to install this, you have the product page open on your phone. The "wiring diagram" is in the pictures on this page, you're not going to get it with the button. And even then, the one in the pictures is quite confusing. I had to re-wire it 3 times before I figured it out. Luckily I was smart enough to not crimp my connectors until I had it right. I recommend doing the same -- just stuff the wires in your connectors or wrap it around your lead, test it, re-wire it, test it again, then figure out what they meant in the instructions, re-wire it a third time, test it, then crimp your connectors. The wires on the harness are only about 6" long, so you'll need to run wires from your battery to wherever you want to mount the button, then run wires from the button to the light or whatever you're using it for.Even after figuring out the "wiring diagram," the light inside the button doesn't work on mine -- I assume it's just defective. I didn't purchase it for effect though, so I don't really care if it lights up or not. Other than those two main flaws, it works. It turns on and off, and it stands up to heavy rain. I don't plan to purchase anything else from this company, because they don't include any helpful information in the packaging -- just a small piece of paper with some gibberish in poorly-translated english, no instructions, troubleshooting, or even a customer service number -- something that's all too common with cheap Chinese products.

Works and installs easily,I'm using them in all the trucks now
This push button power switch was purchased to use to use in a light duty fire assist truck to turn on the lights in the rear to find equipment at night when needed. Installation is much easier than before with other switches of this type from the included plug/harness and with the body size being a common size drilling the holes for them is much easier and quicker. In use the light provides easy identification and use from the l.e.d. illumination making it a few seconds to find and use it which makes all the difference in the situations this truck is in. I'm purchasing dozens more to use on the rest of the units we deal with it's been a worthy addition to our endeavors.

Great for Boats
I have been updating and refurbishing my 2012 Yamaha SX190. I had installed a USB with a Voltmeter. Unfortunately, if I put it in series with an existing switch, the power draw was too high, and caused whatever was hooked up to not work. As such, I had to bypass the switches and ended up with an always on USB adapter. To resolve it, I installed this nice shiny button. I can confirm, that if it is wired correctly, when pushed it turns on, and then pushed again it turns off. Very revolutionary for a button! Also yes, I know my fiberglass splintered when I was drilling the hole.
