Savoureux Pro Line Dual Deep Fat Fryer

This is my second Savoureux Deep fryer. I love the dual baskets! My first one lasted over 10 yrs. This newer version only heats to 375 degrees. It does not get quite hot enough for some cooking needs.

Everything I wanted in a deep fryer. Easy to use, easy to clean. Removable oil comtainer makes storing used oil convenient for reuse. With 2 small and 1 large basket, frying more than 1 food at a time or a generous amount of 1 food is simple. Price was lower than many other units I considered and well worth it. Numerous uses have been trouble free with excellent results. I've even made my own corn dogs and funnel cakes as good or better than the MN State Fair offers.

It came dented, when it was supposed to be new, the casing is apparently thin, but the kicker was the cord, which was fuming off a powerful and horrible smell. It stunk up the whole item as it apparently permeated it as in stained it. I've encountered similar smells before with Chinese products, MANY MANY times, so many times I end up returning a least a third of the electronics I get because of that smell. Really angry I spent $72 something on this thing only to be insulted with flimsy toxic junk. Very angry. Sick of this smelly crap China keeps sending us. No doubt to me these items are the main sources of cancer increase, or half the partner in cancer causing crime with other cancer causing products, or perhaps from the fluoride in water.

product works fine but it is suppose to have an always on setting and this one doesn't so it does not do as i need it to. for an occasional user it will do great but i do alot of frying and having to run to check the timer so it does not turn itself off is just not something i like. If the feature worked for always on i would love the product but mine is inferior

it will splash over if you don't watch it. I think if I were to buy any more of them I would look a little closer.

We love this deep fryer in our home so much we bought another for our camper. Cooks so evenly no complaints this deep fryer is awesome. Clean up is easy!
