The plug fit into the standard plug, but the yellow wire was defective and shorted out power to the radio. Unfortunately my buddy and I didn't find this out until we connect all the wires. Oh, also the red power wire comes SEPERATE from the wiring harness so you need to figure out a way to get power to the radio. My radio antenna also did not fit so I need and adapter that this kit does not come with. So do yourself a favor don't get this harness for a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, get one with the red wire included in the harness so it is all plug and play and includes and adapter for the radio antenna. I found one on Amazon.

got this after not being able to find locally to have it same day or without spending $80 at best buy. Fits my 08 avenger perfect. Comes with red lead with a male spade for switched power since it's not on the harness. I just got a red T tap and tapped the switched power on the cig lighter and plugged in. Works perfect. Make sure you get the am/fm antenna adaptor too. Metra 40-EU10.

I Replaced the OEM radio on a 2007 Jeep Wrangler X and installed an after market Kenwood double DIN BPX500BT. It worked fine. I took the Kenwood wire harness and connected all the wires in my shop. Wire colors matched up perfectly. This was not a multimedia installation and there were no additional add ons on the Jeep like power antenna, satellite radio, amp, etc. Keep that in mind because this harness is basic, just speakers and power. Also, on the power note, you will have to wire a separate ignition power wire to your after market radio if it requires one. The kit above comes with a separate red 3A fused wire with a blade. I used my cigarette lighter power wire (it gets powered with ignition on the Wrangler) and one of those blue splicing straps that you can buy separately to tap into the power without having to cut the wire. The yellow power wire built into the harness is for direct (fused) battery power.

It may just be my truck, but this did not fit on my 2007 Dodge Dakota. I ended up having to get a wiring harness for a 2002-2004 Dodge Dakota.

Fit my 08 Jeep Liberty perfectly. No problems. Even comes with a separate wire for the ignition wire that has a clip at the end. For some reason the harness in the 08 Jeep Liberty (maybe other models too, don't know) doesn't have an ignition wire so I had to clip it to the wire on my cigarette lighter. Only mention it because it's not in the instructions. If you ignore the extra wire your radio isn't going to turn on.

Meant for my 2005 Dodge Dakota truck and did not fit nor was it close. Would not recommend this product.
