So, I've had my Helix floor for over 5 years now, and I bought the backpack with the unit. The backpack worked great, however there are 2 things that I don't like about the backpack: 1. The backpack has zippers. They are strong, but they have these stupid puller tags on them that pop right off almost immediately. I mean, there are several of them, and I only had one left. And the zippers FAILED. I was carrying so much weight in my backpack that my zippers couldn't handle it. Cords, cables, tuners, more cables, MORE CABLES... The zippers just said enough. They broke, and I mean I lost both of them to the main compartment. 2. The amount of stuff you can put in the backpack is staggering. Too much... seriously. It cannot handle the weight and will fail. This gator case is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Super tough, no zippers to fail, and it has wheels and a handle to just tow behind me. There is NO room for cables in this, except a power cord, so you will need to carry your cables in a separate duffle or something, which is what I do. I find this a much better option. The backpack was SOOOOO HEAVY to haul around, where this little gator case is nice and light, because I cannot over fill it. This will protect your Helix from ANYTHING!! Super tough, nice wheels, and the handle is great. Should be the last case I need for this unit!

I have used this case several times when checking my pedalboard for fly gigs. It has kept my Helix safe, and it is not too large or bulky to lug around the airport. So glad I purchased this. It does not lock with a key. It just has the snap locks, but I have had no issues so far. I used to use the helix backpack for everyday hauling of my pedal board, but now I will never go back. No more stress on my shoulders. Super easy to transport. The only thing I would add is a handle besides the extender handle to the top. I wouldn't lift with the luggage handle or it could break off. I have to use the side handle when lifting, which can be awkward.

My Line6 Helix floor unit fit perfectly. Exactly what I needed. Sturdy, rolls easily and simple to carry. Not a ton of room for accessories, but appears to be enough for cables.

Very solid piece of equipment, very easy to handle it around.

The live in case is excellent and worth every penny to protect the investment it holds. It fits my Helix LT perfectly, and the wheels are perfect for moving it from the trailer to the stage with ease.

Quality

Holds my Helix Floor perfectly...but not much else. A power cable and a USB cable are about all there's room for...and even those will just sorta be thrown on top of the Helix. There's no "compartment" for cables. If you also use an accessory expression/volume pedal...yeah, not going to fit. At all. And despite being an ATA case, it doesn't actually lock. O_o Not a deal breaker for me, because it only needs to get me from place to place in a car, but something to be aware of if one is planning on flying. Also on that note, it doesn't have any way of adding a lock. None, nada, zilch. Again, not a deal breaker for me...but YMMV. If you just need a case to transport, or store, your Helix...this is a solid case for that purpose. It's just odd that they didn't put TSA locks on it like they do with their guitar cases.

Literally the best travel/carrying option out there for Helix processors. Makes air travel 10x less stressful too. Also eases up moving your Line6 to/from your vehicle to the rehearsal room.

Bought for my Fractal FM9 and fits perfectly also there's more room for cables and my Hotone Press II for Vol/Exp pedal...Is not so heavy and with the wheels everything runs smoothly...

The line 6 Helix fits in this case like a glove. Has an extending handle and a pair of wheels. Protects your expensive Helix multi-effects unit. A must have if you are gigging with a Helix.

A Beautiful GATOR Case. Perfect for using TO and FRO NOT a "Shipping Container" of any sorts No Zippers to worry about or seams SNUG fit and certinally will proctect the unit ROCK ON !
