This is a great product. It is a thick roll of rubber and just what we wanted. Yes, it does smell a little but that is the new rubber smell which does dissipate in time.

I used this to cover a shelf in a work van. To stop tools and machines from sliding around.It cuts to size easily with a Stanley knife. Laid flat very quickly. Some reviews said it kept curling up. No problem with mine.Also, some reviews said it had a pungent smell. This worried me when I ordered, but this had no smell. Just a slight odour of rubber.. which is expected, I feel.I glued it down vert easily, and fitted some steel strips along the edges.It looks great. Easy clean, and does a great job.

The mat does appear very durable and is a great size but the smell from it is awful. My advice is to let it air before even considering putting it in an enclosed space like a garage gym that’s for sure!
