Feels delicate but if kept away from mishandling (kids) then it should last. It is So handy to have! Curtains are too high for me to reach and this helps open/close with ease. I didn’t want to install a track. Comes in handy for clothes in closet also. It is adjustable to stretch longer like a shower rod. I need one for ever room!

I ordered this for reaching a 9’ high curtain rod, on which s-hooks hang plants in macrame baskets. At first, I hated the thing. It was clumsy, the tip didn't make sense, and there were no insights on usage with certain items like loose, un-affixed s-hooks. In learning said ways, I dropped and smashed 2, fully planted and freshly watered, ceramic pots & catch trays, on separate occasions. It was not a fun learning experience. So, I hope this review and photos help someone out there in avoiding such experiences! For use with s-hooks, what works best for me is placing the notch without the hook-tip under the curve of the s-hook holding the hanging item; while lifting slowly and feeling the weight transfer into the tip/pole, put the hook-tipped notch on the curve/neck of the S- hanging on the rod. When you have a secure placement, you'll feel it - the weight is disbursed comfortably between the notches and it should feel secure; it should be stationary... not at all loosey-goosey. It sounds tricky, kind of is, but 2-3 times and you’ll get the.. erm, hang.. of it. The length is perfect, for me. I'm 5’5”, reaching a curtain rod mounted at 9’; requiring an extension of 3’6” or more from my hand. Mine is fully extended at 43”. 👍 The pole is collapsable, and is therefore hollow. So far it's proving to be strong and lifts my 3-10lb plants just fine, but it is lightweight, so you will likely wonder to yourself if it is actually strong or not. 👍 Quite sturdy! When fully extended it feels solid - isn't wobbly and doesn't feel like it is actually multiple pieces, structurally. 👍 The tip can be removed/changed if anyone’s looking for that info. Yep, it can; but, similarly to an umbrella, there's a fitting that catches when the tip locks in place, (photo 3 with doggo for tax), which is not a universal fitting, however. I’m happy with this now that I've got the feel for it! It was the most economical option with the best reviews. I've spent entirely too much time on this scenario-centric review, but I hope it helps at least one person avoid a big, indoor, muddy mess! 🌱🌿🧶👩🏻‍🦯

This has been one of the best purchases I made. With my limited range of motion in my shoulders I was unable to hang my clothes above my shoulders. Now with this product I now can hang my clothes. The product is light weight and very easy to handle. This product is well worth the price. Now I can make use of my closet space. Soo glad I bought this I love it!!!

Just like you find in your local boutique, this lightweight extension pole allows you to reach high-hanging items in your closet. I've doubled my space by being able to reach a whole new row of clothing. It is sturdy, lightweight, and easy to handle.

The item was described as having a metal hook -- I bought this one in particular because I'm trying to buy as little plastic as possible. The description should instead read "a metal look," as the hook is cheap plastic painted silver. Good grief. It's very cheaply made, which I suppose is expected with a flimsy aluminum pole; but the pole likes to pop out of the plastic part that's supposed to contain it. It's usable, but worth less than its asking price, especially considering the deceptive description.

Wow, this pole is great for opening/closing cellular blinds on large picture windows. It is light weight so it's easy to handle when raising/lowering the blinds from the very top of the window. The u-shaped end cradles the railing on the bottom of the blind to push it up, then the hook grabs the hole in the handle to pull the blind back down. Plus the price is affordable. We can enjoy the full view from the window now that we have a way to open/close the blind completely.
