I am not a any leather good maker of any kind. I had ordered this because I had bought a leather bag from my travels to Cuba. The original strap ( seen in the first photo down below) was too thin and small . I am using this bag to hold a cellphone. There will be weight . I got worried that with continued use of the original strap it will break eventually. I had to find something thicker that can withstand the weight and won't break. I had found this gem of a leather strap. This leather is of great quality, the best I could ever find, and I found it on an odd place such as amazon. I never knew I can order leather parts from them. Excecptional service. Any leather goods problems or needs I will be back. ( the second photo, is the finish product... the strap does wonders to my bag) if you are looking for leather for anything you need it for, buy it from here. I could not be happier with what I got.

I used these on my 30 year old motorcycle saddle bags. The width was perfect & what I had looked for. My old lacing was dried & brittle, these were strong replacements.

The quality of these straps is great. I couldn't find any bad spots or nicks and the color is uniform and looks nice. I am using one of mine to hold together some heavy items and it has held up without any problems. Would purchase again.

I needed a leather strap to replace a broken strap from a purse. This strap measured what I needed perfectly and is supple. This is a gorgeous, soft piece of leather. Exactly what I needed.

It was exactly what I was picturing, I’ve used on my sorel boots because it looks way better then the 2 colored ones that came with, I haven’t cut so I can wrap around the top of the boots and it looks stylish.😀😀😀 width is perfect for boots and good quality.

The thicker straps served us and our garden tool application. But note that these are much thicker than boot laces. Cut them down the middle creating 1/8-inch wide laces for lighter needs.
