Proraso Moustache Wax, 0.5 oz (Pack of 1)

Works great for hard to hold handlebar mustache.
I bought this mustache wax for my gray, hard to hold handlebar mustache. It works fantastic and has a very pleasant earthy, sandalwood fragrance. It is supple to apply and not a hard wax. I rub it between my thumb and forefinger and then apply to my mustache, twisting the ends. Let it set and it stiffens up nicely. It holds all day and can be rewetted and reworked if necessary. Super easy to use.

TINY!
Smells great, but way less product for the $13 price. Container is not much more than an 1.5 inches tall, and thick walls mean even less product. Haven't yet used it, but proraso is my go-to for grooming products of this type. Love their shaving cream, aftershave, etc.

Great stuff!
Tried a lot of different ones. This one is easier to use, dries fast. This is the one for me!

Product completely dried out and unusable.
Let me begin by saying I think Proraso products are the best shaving products on the market. I am a huge fan.I have purchased the mustache wax several times and love the product despite the high cost for such a small .5 oz container. The small tub lasts about 30 days.I purchased this product 2 months before a trip to Italy just so I would have enough on hand. When I opened the still unused jar upon my arrival the other day, the product was not the creamy, pliable product I was used to. The product was dried out and totally unusable. I am beyond the window of returning the product on Amazon so I am hoping to make contact with the company directly for a new jar. I cannot find this product so far in Italy.I am totally amazed of the low cost of Proraso products in Italy! The small jar of pre-shave cream I pay $13 each month, sells for 2.99 Euros for a jar double in size! Really Proraso? I will be stocking up on product while I am here!Tried contacting Proraso via email to their customer service department. Never received a reply.

Looking to tame mustache hairs and not much else? This is your brand.
FINALLY!!! A Mustache Wax that works without any compromises. I’d about given up on the idea that I’d ever find a mustache wax that would do what a wax is purported to do without some glaring issue. All of the kinds I’d tried previously suffered from some fatal flaw that could not be overlooked. Some made it look like I’d been snorting cocaine all day, others were more like paste that made my mustache look more like it was made of wood than actual human hair. Still others seemed to do little at all.Keep in mind, I’m using this wax more to keep my hair in control than anything fancy. So, It seems like I was ultimately asking very little of a mustache wax to accomplish. You’d be surprised by exactly how wrong that assumption was.Proraso does exactly what I want: It keeps my mustache hair under check while not making me look like a drug-addled steam punk harlequin. That alone earns it five stars. The fact that smells exceedingly fantastic is just gravy.

Another great Proraso product! (NEW)
BUYER BEWARE! Proraso has 2 different Mustache waxes, The gray box, eucalyptus and mentholand yellow box, cedar and spice. Seems a lot of sellers use both pictures interchangeably. I have hadto return 2 because the sellers don't know what they are selling and just use whatever stock photothey find.As for the quality, anything from Proraso is exceptional! Especially their shaving cream in a tube andshaving soap in a tub. Too many shaving soap suppliers just use some lye soap with a bit of fragrance. The result is a bar best used for washing you dog, as it probably would kill fleas and ticks but leavesyour face dry and burning. Not Proraso, it has a clean fresh smell and feels almost as if you and usea high end moisturizing lotion. For a barber shop lather lather, add a drop about the size of a pea of the cream to the tub soap andof course use a good brush. Boar are the worst, they stink when they get wet and badger is only alittle better These are mostly used by wanna-be posers who don't know any better and are only forthose lye soaps. With today's manufacturing technology, synthetic is the best choice. Good shaving soap should berelatively soft and with a synthetic brush makes a great lather in no time.Lastly, the after shave. The rule is if it stings, it SUCKS. Those old alcohol based ones were usedas a disinfectant and to stop the bleeding from the old blades. Now you want something that coolsand leaves your face feeling like "a baby's bottom". The Proraso Pre-Post shave creams are thethe best bit. They leave you face feeling really good a smooth!Lastly, all three, the soap, shaving cream (tube) and pre-post cream come in several scents. Thegreen (eucalyptus-menthol), white (sensitive skin), red (sandalwood). All are great!

One of the best waxes I’ve tried
I’ve used quite a few mustache waxes and this is by far my favorite. It starts out nice and creamy, easy to apply but stiffens up nicely in your mustache and gives great hold. It’s less waxy than most of the other waxes I have tried and more so than the others I am likely to continue buying and using this. Also it’s a nice price compared to some of the more expensive ones. This can be applied to dry or moist hair but I found the best results when dry.

I I ordered 2. 1 of the 2 was hard as a rock and had to be thrown away. Not usable. Request another bottle.
