Might be to large for little kids heads.

It stays just fine on my adult head.It does not stay so good on a full size skeleton head. I'm hoping that helps you determine if this is the right size for your needs.It appears to be a fairly nice quality, but I don't think that the last long under under a play situation, it's more of a costume prop, not for long term use.Dad said it's adorable and it definitely a good price for what you get.Would I recommend it? Yes, if it fits your needs and the head it goes on.
