There’s a million uses for mod podge- but I got this specific one to use with sparkles. It works perfectly- as expected honestly. It’s always the right thickness, appears matte or clear when it dries, when covered it doesn’t really matter. It’s just the right amount of stickiness- it’s glue lol so it’s also easy to use. Decent glue and sealer. You have to apply fairly generously for mounting and roll it well. A lot of cleanup and spillover, though, compared to spray adhesives. This is old school art glue which works well for bonding and glossing paper, canvas, and wood crafts. Rinses easily in water. No strong smell is a plus. This bottle probably glues and glosses about (50) 8x10 prints. I'd say it's a bargain. The product is well known and widely used. When applied on top, it initially seems milky but quickly dries to a transparent sheen with a bit of brush texture applied seen at an angle in light.

After finishing a project on wood, the adhesive is incredible. It is as though the material I used is part of the wood. It was thick going on yet dried translucent. It is my first time decoupaging and the piece is hanging in the bathroom, so it is to be seen if it is waterproof!
