Chef's Knife, 7" Blade, Japanese Stainless Steel

Nicely made. Came razor sharp. Cuts onions effortlessly. I'm really careful to wash it and dry it right away so no problems with rust or stains so far.

Quality product. Very sharp out of the box. I find the handle to be very comfortable. Resharpens easily. I've been using it for over a year and remain pleased with my purchase.

My grandson has this knife I used it and liked the way it felt In my hand. I researched the products and found the one I wanted ,ordered it . This knife makes me want throw the other knives I own in the garbage the sharp edge and balance make it easy to use. Highly recommended.

I purchased this knife based on a recommendation I got from my nephew who is a professional chef. He uses this brand in his commercial and home kitchens. I ordered it for my brother in law for Christmas and he loves it. He says it is very useful and sharp.

UPATE: After a year of use, this is now my go to knife in the kitchen. Still sharp, no rust, and I use it on everything. I've used it several times now on vegetables and chicken breast. It's very sharp, comparable to my Shun chef knife. It is balanced but its also very light weight compared to my other knifes. I saw some reviews that mentioned rust. I can only imagine this is from washing and letting it drip dry in a drying rack. So to be cautious I hand wash and dry completely with a hand towel. So far no rust. I would buy it again.

As a person who loves cooking and spends so much time chopping - and after finally reading Kitchen Confidential - I treated myself to this chef's knife. Absolutely love it. It's everything Anthony Bourdain said it would be. RIP Tony!

Knife is well balanced and in good condition, my one gripe being that the picture includes a sheath which does NOT come with the knife.

Sharp & comfortable. I will be purchasing additional Global knives in the future.

Couteau de qualité, belle fabrication, beau tranchant. Il ne me convient pas personnellement pour deux raisons: 1. L'arrière de la lame fait un léger crochet vers l'arrière, je me suis blessé deux fois car j'ai trop l'habitude de couteaux qui n'ont pas ce "talon". Je n'en comprends d'ailleurs pas trop la fonction. 2. L'écart vertical entre le bas de la poignée d'une part, et le fil de la lame d'autre part, n'est pas assez grand pour moi, du coup je n'arrive pas à manipuler le couteau de façon confortable quand je hache des légumes ou des fines herbes. J'ai découvert en comparant ce (très bon) couteau avec d'autres, qu'un couteau de type Santoku est ce qui me convient le mieux.
