Surprisingly easy to use and clean
I am a complete neophyte to pour over coffee. I had it one time at somebody’s house and I have been looking for something to make my morning coffee delicious again. :) I do not use sugar or artificial sweeteners, and the only time I miss sugar is in my coffee. There were no instructions in the box, but this morning I took my chances. Even though I did not know what I was doing, I followed the simple instructions on this listing. They are simple, but they ARE involved, and I will say that I was wondering if I had made a mistake purchasing this item. My coffee was delicious and I now think it is worth the time and trouble. This filter is absolutely beautiful and I was amazed at how small the holes were on the inside, especially, of the filter. I will use this pour over filter system often. I do not have a gooseneck kettle; I just used my regular tea kettle. I do use good quality coffee and filtered water. I had posted a question asking for instructions on how to make a single cup… My question has not even been posted yet but my coffee this morning was good enough that I do not think I need additional instructions. :) Although if anybody has tips, I am listening! Highly recommended.

Excellent paper-less pour over coffee filter!
I LOVE this pour over coffee filter! In fact, I came to Amazon today to buy another one to keep with my travel supplies — unfortunately, it is not currently available. :( This filters slowly & completely, the fine double stainless steel mesh filters ALL the coffee grounds so I don’t get sludgy coffee. The stainless steel doesn’t leech yucky flavors or toxins into my coffee. The stand is strong & stable. I’m a very happy coffee drinker! Well, except for the fact that I can’t buy a second filter.

High quality reusable coffee filter
I bought this filter to replace the plastic/mesh filter supplied with my Bodum dual-walled pour-over coffee maker. That filter was a complete afterthought -- the mesh was so open that even with a coarse grind plenty of coffee grinds would end up in the bottom of the coffee maker, making the last bit undrinkable. The Vencino filter solves that problem completely. I can use a coarser ground because the drip rate is slower, more akin to a paper Chemex filter. There is very little particulate matter in the coffee, and it tastes excellent. The inner stainless steel mesh and outer electroformed metal mesh are both of seemingly excellent quality, and the filter is well-assembled. The little rubber handle is especially useful since, of course, the filter is hot just after use. I have no doubts that this filter will last a very long time! Very happy.

single cup simplicity
Just made my first really good cup of coffee using the Vencino. I'd seen the device a couple of places and ordered this one to try. I would rate it higher, but the box comes with no instructions at all. My first attempt resulted in a watery cup of coffee with little of the rich flavor we look for. I have multiple french press pots, and buy beans from a local roaster. I'm not serious about coffee, but snobby for sure. So the brown water was disappointing. I poked back onto the internet and found some instructions . Ironically, they were with the Amazon listing. Scrolling down through all of the blah blah, you come to a four part ritual. It is more of a patient ritual than just pouring the hot water over the grounds. But the patient four step gave great results. You could even see the bloom in the grounds working. In the long run, this will be a very enjoyable and convenient way to make a single cup, and maybe even a two cup pour. The clean up is simple, so this is a happy purchase.

More than great!
Okay, who knew something as simple as an over-cup coffee doo-hickey could change my life so much? I looked at several of these things and am I ever GLAD I bought this one. A quality product, and I love the fact that the strainer holes are tiny enough that I don't have to use a paper filter, yet never get silty grinds in the bottom of the cup. The rubber grommet had fallen off in shipment, but putting it back on was no problem. It's incredibly sturdy and works exactly as it should. My life is now back in alignment and my chakras have lined back up again! If you're looking for this type of coffee maker, order this one. I rarely write reviews, but this thing is worth the computer time. Happy coffee making!

My coworker said it smelled like Starbucks in my office
Easy to use filter. With covid and not socializing with coworkers as much, I opted to brew coffee in my office. I already had an electric tea kettle and with the addition of this filter, now I can make coffee. Basically, you put coffee in the mesh cone and pour hot water over the grounds. I have to fill it up several with water for a large cup of coffee. Once the coffee has brewed, I dump out the grounds and then store the mesh cone in the cardboard box it came in. The grounds dry out by morning and I brush them out (with the included brush), Rinse the cone out while I refill the tea kettle and brew again! Super efficient. No filters to mess with. I love this thing!

Micro filter insert has no holes at bottom.
Bought this pour over set because of the base. We already have a micro filter insert from another purchase that becomes too hot to hold when pouring hot water into it. It seemed this duo would work well. Problem is that there are no holes at all on the bottom of the insert that comes with this pour over set. This duo is meant to be completely immersed in a pot which isn’t what we were looking for, or expecting. We kept this because the insert we already had (and does have holes at the bottom) fits this base so we are able to set the base with the insert on a cup and do a pour over without scalding our fingers. However, we don’t use the insert that came with this set because of the bottom not having holes. Seems strange not to have a few holes at the bottom. If someone doesn’t mind inserting this whole thing in a pot and having the coffee and water coming through the sides then this would work.
