Gloss Silver Chrome Air-Release Vinyl Adhesive Tape Roll (1 Inch x 25ft)

Having an 80’s vintage El Camino, the interior chrome trim was peeling. This tape worked well replacing the original chrome. A bit finicky getting correct, but I had plenty on the roll to practice. Definitely cheaper than replacing the door panel.

Sanded prepped & painted. rusty steel rocker moldings even at 2' looks like chrome plated. easy to apply. if you don't have vinyl or window tint tool kit BUY one they're cheep and makes it easy.

The finish is great, however, the adhesive is really weak. I needed the chrome effect and had to add my own glue.

I thought I would have to replace my medicine cabinet as the edges, especially along the bottom, darkened from water and opening and closing it. I purchased this tape in 1/2” width in a matte silver, measured and patiently cut and applied 4 pieces around the outer edge of the mirror. I actually can’t believe how good it turned out!

The adhesive on this product is quite weak. If you cannot wrap it all the way around, there is a good chance it will come off. Product looks good, and applies reasonably well. But I only recommend for applications (like door bumper strips), where you can remove the strip, recover and wrap around this product, and then double tape the wrapped-around installation back in place, otherwise this product is probably doing to come off.

This Adhesive chrome tape is NOT sticky. Fell off immediately after placing tape where it was needed. I’m not sure if the item is old or if this was a bad batch, however Im completely disappointed in this purchase.
