Polishing the Mirror: How to Live from Your Spiritual Heart

This man was incredible and this book is so beautiful. It is full of wisdom and original ideas and perspectives. I’ll always keep this book, I love it. Ram dass is essential reading for anyone seriously into meditation and seeking enlightenment.

Having been introduced to Ram Dass' works many years ago, Be Here Now and A Spiritual Awakening have been an invaluable guide to me. As someone who usually finds words easy, Polishing The Mirror leaves me speechless. Beautiful, loving, of service and gratitude, it feels like coming home to your real self. I love this man and his work, and will be ever grateful and indebted to him in his guiding me to be more compassionate and considerate in my own journey.

I have really enjoyed this book ... and learnt a lot about 'end of life' in a more kindly, more accepting ... and less fearful of my future. I have recommended it to a number of people ... and plan to purchase a couple for Christmas gifts.

Its a good book but a slow read for me as read a bit and have to think about it for a while. Its more like remembering and then intergrating the memory into my life.

Ohhhh. Rammy Rammy Ram Dass. You beautiful human. Another fantastic book. Buy this book if you want. Or don't. But I would suggest getting a bit of Ram Dass in your life someway.

I have only just begun, so a full review is not possible. Really enjoying reading it. Thankfully, short chapters that are very full and need breaks to absorb. Written in a language that I find easy and comfortable.

If you want to know what "Enlightenment " is and means and how to achieve it - then this book is for you! In a fascinating account of his life and teaching, let alone his learning, Ram Dass explains, in a very clear and straight forward way, how every one of us can achieve enlightenment. This book can change lives!

good as usual but found it a bit dependant on some of Rams previous books but worth reading if you are not familiar with him,nemaste

Just love the way ram dass put things together from the perspective of life.

I have been reading spiritual books for years and this, in conjunction with ‘Living Presence’ by Kabir Helminski’ have finally given me a real clue. Both books are highly recommended, PARTICULARLY this one.

This is a Bible for me. I read it slowly. A sement at a time. Slowly digesting. At the end. I begin again. Every time parts seem brand new. I consider. It steadies my path. Gives me hope. This is a favorite book.

I recommend this book to everyone that wants to find meaning in their lives (cause who doesn't), as well as people who want to connect with themselves and the world around them on a more spiritual level. Ram Dass has an amazing story to tell, I’m so glad I stumbled on this book.
