Bright and super simple to install
Highlights:• Super light weight• Super easy to install (light weight + supplied hardware)• Super bright and efficient• Linkable -outlet in the end to plug in the next lightFirst impression- how could this possibly be a box of four lights? Is it an empty box? Is it just the bulbs? They seemed super flimsy and unsubstantial. After installing them, that impression has changed.I have them installed flush to the 9' ceiling of my two car garage workshop. The ceiling is white painted stipple textured drywall. The texture makes it near impossible to find a joist with any kind of stud finder, but it doesn't matter with these, the super light-weight of these and the super simple metal clips they supply means it's a breeze to install on drywall- or anything that'll hold a screw. There are plastic anchors supplied too, but I used my preferred #8 Toggler Alligator anchors, with the supplied screws and clips (I like these anchors in drywall because you can drill the hole with the #8 screw- just drive it through the drywall, over-tighten it to "strip it out" and pull it back out- it creates the perfect size hole to tap the anchor into without having to use a drill and the right drill bit- and they hold great, won't pull out with the screw in it without taking it a chunk of drywall).I have to mention the supplied hardware again, because it's so rare any of it is worth a damn. These came with chains and hooks, and "tea cup" screw hooks for suspending them, and metal clips for flush mounting with decent flat head screws and plastic hollow wall anchors. I used the flush mount clips and they worked flawlessly. I was going to just use pan head sheet metal screws with the slots in the ends of the lights, but the clips mean the spacing is less critical, up to say an inch or so. You can just install one, clip in the light and eyeball the second, mark it and install it- without measuring ( unless of course you want it square / perpendicular / parallel or something...)I have a couple Hyper Tough Walmart shop lights which I think are rated at 3300 lumens, and two older T8 fluorescent ones. These are not only substantially brighter than both of those, but they distribute light much more evenly. The open tube with no reflector means my ceiling is the reflector, which works great. The plastic tube is slightly frosted so you don't see the individual LEDs like you do on the Walmart fixtures, so it's easier on the eyes. I don't mean pretty though- they look like old old school bare tube industrial lighting, and the daylight 5500k is, well, like daylight. But it's great for seeing what I'm working on.I've got them daisy chained as far as the cord will reach, which is about 54”. I have four in a 20x20 two car garage. It's plenty for general illumination, but for really even illumination for woodworking without dim areas and shadows, I could use another four, but the roll up door would block them when it's open.If I had any gripes about them, it would be the cord length. They'd be better with at least 6' cords, and nearly perfect with swappable cords, and accessory cord packs available in a few lengths. Not just for wider fixture spacing, but to get it to the power source without an extension cord. It worked out for me, as I have a center outlet for my garage door opener, and I have them plugged into a wireless remote switched Christmas light plug. If I had a little more length, I could have used lightbulb to outlet adapters and used the existing wall switch. The cord length limited spacing works on a workshop, bit I think longer spacing would work in a shed or storage area for general illumination.Bottom line: Great purchase. I got them on a lightning deal, but I'd easily pay full price for them any day. You need these if you need brighter, more even light in your workshop, garage, basement, shed, etc and and don't want to spend a fortune or have extension cords tacked up all over the place. These VS 4' florescent ship lights- If you've used or are using multiple florescent shop light fixtures and have tried to link several into an existing wall switch, you may have found that the wall switch or breaker couldn't handle the in-rush current of all the ballasts being switched on at the same time. These have no such ballast, and won't overload a 15A breaker or switch. These are less than 200w total load for four (says 36w in one place, 42 elsewhere here). The light quality and appearance is similar to a cool white florescent, and probably a lot brighter. There's also no glass to shatter if you bump them with something, and they won't burn out at the rate florescent tubes do- so no boxes of tubes to store and no spent bulbs to dispose of.

Great lights, reasonably priced. Better cord management needed.
Great lights that really provide superior lighting for a garage and workshop space. I used 10 lights for a 18 x 24 ft garage space and that provides excellent lighting. For a 12 x 18 ft workshop I used 8 lights, and again, excellent lighting. Depending on whether I had open beams, or a OSB solid ceiling I used either the chain mount system, or the clip mount, respectively. The clip mount was quite easy and gives a nice finished appearance, but it will only work if you can mount the clips at about 45 inches apart (not an option with exposed joists unless you are mounting the lights along the length. I like the cord switches on the lights as it gives me the option of turning off some of the lights if I ever decide I want reduced light for better ambiance. The one issue that I am not happy with is how to manage the extra cord length in a way that looks neat a professional. I coiled up the cord in different ways and used zip ties to consolidate the wire, but it still looks like a bit of rats nest up in the ceiling (see pics). Maybe the manufacturers could work on this for a future iteration of these lights to provide a retracting cord, or something similar.

Bright and light weight shop lights
I previously bought a set of 4 of these lights. They worked so well that I decided to dispose of some older 4 foot florescent lights and replace them with these LEDs. Since they weigh very little, I was able to easily install them in places that were hard to reach. I used magnets (with hooks) to install two of them.

Good supplemental lights
I bought these to supplement my existing garage/workshop lights, which consisted of 4 dual bulb 48” fluorescent fixtures in a large garage. First, these shop lights are NOT that similar to the LED hanging style lights sold in discount stores such as Harbor Freight or Rural King. These fixtures are extremely light weight and made entirely out of plastic. They basically consist of two plastic tube LEDs held together on each end, and appear very flimsy. They do need to be handled carefully when mounting. Mounting is easy, however. I used the supplied metal clips rather than the hook and chain option. Clips were attached to the ceiling via supplied plastic drywall anchors and screws about 42” apart (re-measure distance to get exact placement as clips attach to a receiving rail on each end of the fixtures). Once the clips are mounted, fixtures can be snapped into them fairly easily. (If working off a ladder, make sure to position the ladder where you can reach each end to snap in place as the fixture is too flimsy to support itself with only one end snapped up while the ladder is moved.) Once mounted, cords can be coiled and managed with wire ties and holders to prevent slack wires hanging from the ceiling and improve appearance.Overall, I like the look of these after mounting flat to the ceiling. Aesthetically, they look a lot better than the chain-hung lights. They are not supper bright, however, but they are considerably brighter than the fluorescent fixtures.

Exactly as Described!!
Everything works. Super bright for what they are. Super easy to install and light, making mounting very easy. I was a little worried about the weight vs. the quality of the product, but after installing them, I have no more concerns. plug n play and it's all done.
