NeoSport Men's Neoprene 3mm Waterman Wetsuit Jacket

THE DESIGN HAS CHANGED 6/3/19
I ordered this specific wetsuit because of the stitching design on the front. It looks really cool in the photos, almost superhero-like. So I'm a 5'10" male, roughly 155lbs, skinny athletic, I ordered the Medium based on the size chart. And it fits in most places like a glove...EXCEPT THE CROTCH. Oh my god. It has ZERO room in the crotch region. I'm not sure if the old design had more room, because they sent me a new ugly design without stitching on the front. So if you're buying this because of the design, you might be disappointed. I wish I had taken some photos before I sent it back, but I had to take it off ASAP because of how uncomfortable it was.

Finally, an easy entry front zip wetsuit.
Finally, I have discovered a 3 mm. shorty wetsuit that is super easy to get into, is warm in my winter 47 degree unheated pool, and was priced exceptionally reasonable. The cross design zipper starting at the thigh and zipping across the chest up to the neck makes entry super easy compared to getting into both legs first and having to struggle getting into the arms and adjusting upward. With the left leg unzipped until both arms are in, the rest is a piece of cake, especially for my compromised right shoulder. I wish that I had discovered you folks sooner for the comfort that I sought for my deep water running and deep water exercise routine over the years. I am 5' 10", 160 lbs., and slim. The medium fit me perfectly; just a tiny bit short in the long sleeve, but negligible. I hope the last statement helps others in their size choice as did the posted reviews in helping me with my choice of size.

Solid buy
If you're reading this review, you're already aware of the sizing concerns, so let's start there. I am 5-10" and weigh 227 lbs (all the excess of that being between my chin and my belt). After reading all the feedback here and on other sites, I opted for size XXL. I typically wear XL t-shirts.I can happily report that it fits - very well, actually. If I were to wear this 3m shorty ALONE, the fit would be near-perfect (if anything, the sleeves could be about 3/4" shorter, but I attribute that to the fact that I am overweight and most XXL users would indeed have a bigger, taller frame). With that in mind, I was a tad bit disappointed, as I was hoping to be able to layer this shorty over a 7m bob. Technically, it does manage to fit as a top layer, but barely (and likely too tightly to dive & move comfortably). As of now, I'm just waiting for "shorty weather" to arrive to give it a test run.The suit itself seems to be very well made! I've looked at all seams & stitching carefully and everything looks solid. The zipper is heavy-duty and opens/closes perfectly. The only other comment I can make is on the neck itself. I've never owned a long-sleeve shorty before, and when trying this on, I did feel like I wanted this to zip up to the top of the collar as a normal full suit would. In all fairness, I'm not sure how comfortable that would be with the front zipper, but it does feel "different" to me... hopefully something I'll get used to after a few uses.Overall, I'm not certain I'll be able to put this to use exactly as I had originally intended, but for the price, it's a value and I've no regrets in buying it. Now all I need is some warm water....

Surprisingly Satisfying purchase. Best to read review to ensure satisfaction
I am not a professional. This review if from a dummy's perspective. First you need to know why you are buying a wet suit because your need for freedom of movement is probably the primary consideration. For fitness swimming or triathlon training you probably have to go with sleeveless suits designed for that. Sleeveless suits are great if you need one, but they can be a bitch to get on and a worse bitch to get off. Lets jump to water skiing ( that means we are skipping scuba diving and snorkeling) I hope to waterski all winter here in south florida and have been slowly acquiring layers of wet suit to keep me ahead of the gradually dropping water and air temperatures. First someone loaned me a zippered long sleeve jacket. I was amazed at how easy it was to get in and out of. FIrst I bought a long sleeve zippered jacket from Neo Sport and then Neo Sport long pants. So far so good. I took a chance on Neo Sport because I recognized the name from a pair of gloves I liked. Neo sport is a legitimate company, not a fly by night chinese outfit. However, from reading what Neo Sports writes, I get the idea the Neo Spot proprietor is a hard butted case. Bear in mind that with wetsuits, for some reason the sizes seem to be all over the place, and you need to be sure you have the fit you want, well before you need the wetsuit so you have time to change sizes if needed. When my jacket and pants got a little cold, I purchased a long sleeve pullover made by Camaro Watersports, an Austrian company. The pullover is worn as a base layer under my jacket. The Camaro garment claims to be made out of a material named Titanium, which camaro claims holds less water than Neoprene. I like it. Then when I learned to let go of the water skis before crashing head first and began to fall backward into the water, the separation between the jacket and pants was open to the cold water, and I began to look for a solution. This garment was a perfect solution. What I like is that it is surprisingly easy to get into and out of. Now the only problem I have is getting out of the camaro garment, but if someone pulls it properly, it comes right off. However the position that person needs to stand in could enable them to try to do you Greek or Turkish. LOL I think the design, functionality and price of this particular model of Neo Sports Wetsuit is really superb if its the type of wetsuit you need. One reason I wrote this review is that some reviewers wrote that it is not easy to get in and out of. I disagree. One more point. Wet suits in general can be hard to get in and out of. Preparing for that is a good idea because if you minimize the friction you minimize frustration. If its cold you want to get out of that damn wetsuit fast. Also a sticky to get out of wetsuit might tear, and could spoil your enjoyment of an aquatic vacation. I called a dive shop for a recommendation. They told me they use a mix of 1 part baby soap to 3 parts of water to fit users in the dive shop. I tryed that and it works. There is also a kind of expensive product called Triglide that seems well recommended. I intend to carry both, because the triglide is easier to handle and you dont have to worry about it spilling. One more thing about water skiing. If you get hit in the head with the water ski, the ski instructor or driver will tell you it was a freak accident that almost never happens. Now I wear a helmet. LOL

Small size fits like a glove!
Comfortable, good quality for a good price . When I ordered this wetsuit I was concerned about the sizing options. Being only 5'3 I thought the small might be too big according to the chart. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly. I got this suit for kayaking in cooler temps. The small size fits me everywhere perfectly so it should provide good insulation when in the water. If you are taller than 5'3 and over 160lbs you should go to the next size up.Overall the suit looks to be well made. All stitching looks like it should hold up well. The front zipper looks to be of good quality and makes putting on and taking off the suit very easy. As far as warmth I will have to update this review till I actually get in the water. I'm happy with the suit and look forward to using it this season. I would recommend it !

Fits well. Reasonable quality. Fairly priced.
This is a great undersuit for colder water temps or for when you don’t want a full suit. It fit me well though others complain about it crushing certain body parts. I’ve got great range of motion while wearing it and it’s easy to put on and take off with the front zipper. Good quality neoprene. Stinks a bit from now but that’ll go away after a couple of uses. This was a great buy for sure. Recommended.

Great purchase, warm and easy to get in and out.
Great shorty! I've use it a dozen times in Northern New-Brunswick Canada. It's warm enough to stay in 30 minutes or more. Long sleeves are better than short, front zipper makes it real easy to put on. Fit was good using size table. Price is good no regret buying this wetsuit.

Fits great, maybe a little oceanic for a pool but great for people who cant take cold pools.
I like the quality of the neoprene. Very firm, no threatening to rip as I zip it. I had to buy the men's size because non of the women's had the length I wanter or the ease in getting in and out of the unit. I need to do water therapy or aquatics regularly in a warm pool. This suit makes it possible for me to use any pool.

I use this to extend the seadoo season till (October?)The legs could have been another 4"-6" longer , but it does keep the body heat in well at the torso .Front zipper is great , no fumbling trying to reach it from the back like the others I've seen online .Use the sizing chart provided … it was accurate .I'm 5'11" and 160lbs 33" waist so I was debating getting the large ,but they recommended medium .Glad I did get the medium … fits like a glove .If your not trying to make a fashion statement , I recommend it .
