Good quality and look for the money!
Hello! So I bought 3 sets of 24 of the 12x12x2 foam squares with the pyramid shape. And I must say for the money the foam is pretty solid in the density and looks overall. I did order all black squares and some do look slightly different shades then others. But once up not noticeable however my room is a little darker. For the money and the amount you get mixed with quality id rate 10/10. I was looking at 'Arrow zoom' foam before hand but the budget with other room upgrades and yada yada I had to cut corners.Now... before I blast away this is just a side note more then a negative comment. I tend to read the reviews and watch videos on things before I buy them. Especially things like this. Alot was said about the 3M adhesive squares that come with the foam tiles such as they dont stick well. So I bought an additional 240 3M squares in bulk through Amazon also. After getting everything un-packaged and waited two days to maximize the un-compression of the foam I went at it. I stuck nine 3M (1.5"x1.5") 3M squares on the back of each one. And still they begun to fall after an hour being up. not all but some. Another thing to note is that I Live in Arizona and it is summer so my walls are a little warm as I dont run my ac all day while at work. So after a little more investigating I found the solution! T-PINS!!!! You can get a rather large pack at walmart. I bought 3 boxes and pinned 5 pins on each square. I pinned each one down like a 5 side dice. After about a 3 weeks to a month of using I can honestly say I love these foam panels. I ended up almost filling op one whole wall in my bedroom and an additional 4 foot by 2 foot section on another wall in the same room. I can definitely tell a difference within my room elimination unwanted echo. It helps with secondary sound reflections. I also bought some blackout curtains by PONY and in black. And the combination covering both windows in my room with said curtains and the foam aligned as described kills it! Ill post pictures soon to ease any doubts. And hey if you dont agree with me if you buy them....... Then return em! Cheers!

Product actually works great, the stickers supplied are "Terrible/Useless"
Bought these so I cant hear white trash outside and so that noone will be bothered by my bass, I work from home so 24/7 basically I have music going with "one crazy stereo" in my living room 7.2 surround on 2x 12" long throw expensive subs (it is awesome), problem being is that low resonance like that carries, I can hear this turned up amps on 30% at my Mailbox @ 110 feet away from the door, after doing the entire wall I can clearly hear a difference in same songs and also while getting my mail, I'm a conservative so I dont like to go around being a nuisance to others however I like my music loud kinda and even when not loud the lower sub frequencies carry bad especially on long throw subs, and thats just after 1 full wall, however keeping these things hanging are a challenge the stickers they give are "terrible" and thats an understatement, they send you like 200 of these utterly useless stickers, I tried literally putting up an entire row and it wouldnt stick with even residual gel left over and then without music on yet, they are that bad...so currently still looking for a way to properly stick these things on the walls, the product works great but the adhesive is just terrible, 3M has come a long ways but lets be real the technology has not gotten that great lol you can tell where they saved money at, other than that I gave it 4 stars as once I do this entire computer room, living room and work room along with part of my kitchen, on a side note it also helps as an insulator if used in windows behind mirror tint around the house which allows my Air Conditioner to take more breaks ive noticed, also temperatures on average have dropped in the general area after doing it by 8F average, its not a gamechanger but just keep it in mind when hanging them q=>

As promised
Item was delivered as promised. I do not have any complaints about the foam padding or the contents of the package thus far. The item is being used to diffuse sound. I will be testing its "sound proofing" abilities more in the future and will update my review if I feel it is necessary.

Don't waste your money or your time
These might have been a good product at one time but the way the seller packages them destroys them. The seller vacuum packs them which smashes them down to nothing and they do not rebound like memory foam. I bought 3 doz. and they were all destroyed.

Great Product!!
Bought this to dampen some dead space around my blower that was pulling air from a vent in my living room. They took exactly 1 day to fully inflate and seemed to be of very high quality. They have definitely lower the sound coming from the vent area considerably. (Wish I took a dB reading before an after) To give you some assurance my surround sound system used to be on at least a volume of 10 to hear my tv and now I can comfortably put it on around a 7 while the AC unit is running.-1 star though because peeling the double sided tape for set up was a PAIN. This was the longest part of the installation process. BUT they are legit 3M stickies and hold up well from what I can tell (purchased a few weeks ago and still holding strong) Would recommend this for noise reduction for AC ventilation. I'll try and add a picture..

it's ok but doesn't have noticeable effect on sound
I tested if it was fireproof. I put a lighter to it, and it just smoked and melted. It didn't catch, so passes the fire test.It was crushed in the packaging, so I laid out the foam across my floor and within 2 days they were fully inflated and in perfect shape. The 3M stickers were great and hold well. The trick is NOT to use your fingernail to separate it from the backing. Instead, I used a scratching technique that worked great. Also make sure you clean the surface with rubbing alcohol, first.I tested the foam in terms of sound absorption. Using a sound app on my phone, It seemed to suppress some frequencies while amplifying other frequencies, but nothing major. I don't subjectively notice any sound difference.

Destroyed by packing method.
It would have been perfect, but the way it was packed, they smushed 12 panels together into a bundle so tightly in plastic and tape that the foam panels were all warped and destroyed upon arrival. They are not even half an inch in thickness now. Basically paid $40 for useless destroyed foam.
