Murray 71132MA 8-Inch by 2-Inch Wheel for Lawn Mowers

I bought this wheel two of them. They were exactly as described only better. However, I had to return them because they look like the front wheels. What I needed was the rear wheel the right one. I have a self propel lawn mower. By looking at the front all four wheels look the same. I am sure most of you know the mechanism and how they operate. Rather than looking the front of wheels it is important to look what is behind. Even then we can't see nothing cause it is covered by a plate which inside there is something looks like pinion I am not sure. the wheel itself has what I call teeth, the whole thing remind me of industrial revolution symbol . All I am trying to say make sure you are buying the right thing. Model number did not help me my mower is about 16 years old. Dust, dirt .you name it I could not find the model number. After all it is a lawn mower not a Lamborghini, although both kept in Garage. As a highly satisfied customer with Amazon, well there are times I feel there is a little more INFO is needed than just the model number. Back to these wheels, in addition to their good qualities, price at $18 each and for two around $36 and free shipping now that's attractive. I saw in other places without mentioning their names they go as high as $27 each plus shipping. If your lawn mower is working well, turns on with one or two pulls these are big saving and why buying a new one. My lawn Mower had other issues it was time for a new one. One note self propel are noticeably heavier. Good luck.

Perfect fit for my 14 year old Murray Turfmaster mower. Over the years the back wheels had worn wobbly from all the pivoting on the back wheels during turns. All that's needed is to pop out the axle cover with a screwdriver, undo the axle nut, and pull off the old wheel. Mine needed a 9/16th socket for the axle nut. I would have preferred the wheels with metal bearings, but I could not find them. If these wheels last like the originals did, I'll be happy. They seem to be made the same as far as I can tell.

Fit on my lawnmower perfect. I used it all last summer and it is holding up great. Looks just like the ont that broke.

I have a murray lawn mower and these went right on. I actually had my kid install them and it worked well. Man, I don't know why I waited so long to fix those wheels.

This was an exact replacement for the original rear wheels on my 12 year old Murray self-propelled mower.I was glad to see that that the front drive wheels were also available on Amazon if I need them.

THese fit great. Good to find because when I called the company (Murray) , I was transferred 4 different times. Seems that a 10 year old mower is too old for the company that manufactured it to know anything about it much less have parts even though I had all model, part and serial numbers!

Other wheels on my Murray mower have a metal inner sleeve, which obviously prolongs service life. This one does not have an inner metal sleeve, though did fit.

These are good, solid wheels. My old ones were cracked, so I needed to replace them. It took me about 2 minutes to replace both of them, and I've mowed my lawn 3-4 times since with no problems.

It fits other models of Murray lawn mowers to, pricey but it works/fits well
