Corduroy's Tiny Treasury

Good selection!My son is 1,5 year old. He likes reading, the quality of the book is good, so it deffinately won't be disturbed with him flopping through the book, or throwing it sometimes, corners are rounded, stories are nice.I think, it was a very good choice!

The tiny treasury of 5 little Corduroy books is just the right size for the little hands of my 3 year old grandson who loves books and Corduroy. The books fit into his backpack for trains, planes and automobiles if taken out of the little boxy case (leave it at home for the bookcase) . His Mom ( or Dad) can tuck some of the books into his/her back pack if all 5 are too heavy altogether. ( They are board books). The "plots" of the stories are almost too simple for a three-year-old but the pictures are great for talking and discussion points . Ruth D. Taylor

Great gift for a young one...nice set!

NOT written or illustrated by the original author, just generic poorly written captions to illustrations not even resembling Don Freeman's style. And why does Corduroy randomly own a bulldozer? LOL!

We have a lot of Corduroy books. These are re-used artwork from the other books with no storyline, and not many pages. My 2 year old likes them a little, but my 4 year old has absolutly no interest. I suggest the lift-the-flap Corduroy books. We all enjoy those very much. This set is best for babies more than toddlers.

These are excellent books for small children. Made well, they will last as they are made of durable material, shouldn't tear, and can be wiped clean. Being child sized is a big plus. A small child can carry these around easily. The colors are vibrant, the illustrations are very nice. The stories are short, they are appropriate for the age child they are designed for. The average toddler is not going to sit still for 20 minutes to hear a story. Not to mention they are excellent stocking sized stuffers. Corduroy is a timeless character. My children remember reading these books. As a matter of fact these were asked for by my daughter for a Christmas gift for her baby son.

Cute little set containing several short board boards. I knew prior to purchasing that these would be “travel size” but these are even smaller than I expected. I suppose they are a good size for toddlers hands. The artwork, however, seems a bit off from what I remember.Edit- had to increase this to 5stars, because regardless of my opinion/observations, my daughter has grown fond of these tiny books, and enjoys listening while I read them to her

This was a cute set. I think it was a little smaller than I expected and wish I would have saved my money to buy bigger Corduroy books. My son loves Corduroy but didn't seem too interested in these because they were so small. I kept them and put them in the car so when driving, he can look at the little books. Can be kept in a diaper bag too to use when you are out.

These are small sized books and my 5 month old loves holding it. But oh my, it has really strong smell to it. I had this set for couple weeks now and I can still smell it. Hopefully it will go away eventually. The story line is just okay. I think these are good for little babies to hold and to look at pictures but probably not for toddlers.

While I understand that this set does not have all the charm of the original stories, I still like them a lot. They are short, the content helps to normalize daily routines, and the art is pleasant for adults to look at during repetitive story sessions. I like the original Corduroy books, but I don't always want to pull out the longer, more involved books. This little set fits the bill, and my daughter loves the character either way.

Love all Corduroy books. It's my fault for purchasing such small books for an eightenn month old child. The larger books are easier to handle. I'll just save these books until she gets old. Price was great and I do recommend this set of books for an older child.

My 1 year old absolutely loves these books! The pictures are very colorful and nice to look at. The stories are short enough to capture my toddler's attention and small enough for him to open and look through himself. There was a strong and upon opening the set which lingered for over a week.

What a fun set for my baby. She really enjoys these books. I like that Amazon sets come sealed so they are fresh out of the box and great for gifts.

Such a great value for a 5 books set and our daughter absolutely adores Corduroy! We just wish there were a few more options with other Corduroy books and maybe even a variety of sizes (including even smaller sizes, equivalent to the toddler books at Chick fil-A).

The Corduroy Bear and Book set is a cute, simple toy, perfect for that quiet time just before bed. The little bear is just right for small hands to hold and has no buttons or parts to worry about coming off. The Corduroy story is short and simple enough for small kids to enjoy, but offers enough substance that older siblings will enjoy it, as well. Extra book sets are available, and range in age recommendations from infants' board books to stories for the 1st or 2nd grader. I use Corduroy's story regularly in my classroom, and it is always a favorite. Highly recommended.
