Good for replacing discolored fixtures
Easy to install. Some materials are plastic, but still acceptable and probably similar to original. Looks nice and simple.

Replaced an older, less ergonomic knob
Bought this to replace a 30-year-old knob on an Avante valve with a more ergonomic handle. Pfister recommended this to go on the Avante Valve 0X9-010A (since discontinued) using the retro fit kit #931-930, since the new trim sleeve won't screw directly onto the old valve. The process was very straightforward; I also replaced the cartridge in the valve and it works great now. My only knock against this is on value, having to buy the trim for the showerhead and the tub spout as well.

This shower trim along with a pfister valve 9740420 was installed and works well. This trim and valves are discontinued and only available in amazon.
