I purchased these for use in my kitchen. In my opinion, and compared to similar products rated at 2700K, these provide better light (white compared to yellow), and bring out true colors in the room. These were not my first Cree products. Several years ago, in another home, I converted the kitchen to Cree LEDs and after a while some of them began to flicker. I contacted Cree warranty support and the rep ended up sending me an updated model as a replacement for all of the bulbs I had purchased. I contrast that to a disappointing warranty claim for LEDs from Sat.. company. They basically ignored my warranty claim, so I have eliminated any of their products from any future consideration.

Good light output and color. I haven’t dimmed them, but LEDs always get warmer when dimmed and I wouldn’t expect them to be any different.

These bulbs are no different than a soft white bulb (yellow light). Calling this 3000 K bulb “bright white“ is a joke

How can they have a light bulb product description without saying the 3000 or 5000 Kelvin Temp? I went with their term "Bright White" which in their minds is the same as "Warm" or "Soft" light. They actually think warm yellow 3000K light can be described as "Bright White". So we get to wast time, fuel and maybe the product itself. I thought I would match the 21 garage pot lights I previously purchased Cree bulbs for. But you should know, at least 6 have failed over the years with much, much less hours than 22,000. Like 3000 to 5000 hours. If I had to do it over I would not have bought Cree. They used to be in Home Depot for a while, I suspect they got too many returns with irate customers.
